I teased some people with this map a few weeks ago and well, here is my promised release. The map will still recieve the odd update here and there to improve the quality even more.

    Technical stuff:
Shomaru Pass is a 5.8km long winding Japanese mountain road.
The map itself has lots of blind, overgrown corners that are hard to navigate around, even for experienced drivers. The guardrails are old and rusty and some obstacles block the road at one point.

    The Mod:
The map is a conversion from Assetto Corsa "See here"
Map features BeamNG road and grass textures, skybox and vegetation
Some flashing lights for construction barriers were added
Fully working streetlights (day/night script will be added soon™)
Proper Spawn locations for Up and Downhill
Time-trials are added for Up and Downhill respectively
Around 50 hours have gone into converting, planting trees, swapping textures etc.

    Bugs and issues:
-The maps is quite FPS hungry in some cases, I will work on that tho!
-Guardrails are sometimes extremely grabby, thats a model issues I can´t fix as easily

    Future Plans:
The map will, in the near future, recieve some performance related updates and probably some visual changes to textures. Tho there shouldn´t be anything "huge" in terms of updates, tho I will keep people posted on that.

    Credits:
Special credits go to @Car_Killer for helping me along and Beta testing the map several times and fixing a few issues!
Thanks also to my good buddy wuchzael (not on forums) for checking out the map prior to release aswell.
antudusun for the original map and Tiago Lima for the AC convertion.

    Legal:
This map shall stay within the realms of this Forum, reuploading it to russian websites isn´t a thing that I personally like, nor want to support.

Marketing aka Screenshots and a Video:

The verion of the map found "here" is outdated and was deleted by me

New version of the map can be found HERE

    That's really really great work.
    Thank you very much.
In case you ever think about converting another Assetto Corsa map, may I suggest the Monte Bondone Hill Climb stock map? I had the pleasure of driving the real thing on several occasions and having it in BeamNG would be simply awesome :)
It's the best known Hill Climb in Italy. The road is over 17km long, has almost 40 hairpin turns, starts at about 200m and finishes at 1650m m.s.l.

    Best wishes!

I am still thinking about what map to convert next, Bondone sounds like a nice idea tho, and I enjoy driving on it on Assetto aswell, so yea, I´ll consider that

Though I got alot of maps on my "ideas" list to think about. I´ll keep updating on that tho

I think that Tsubaki Line would be a cool map to make/port I have no clue if some one has made it in AC though

another good map to consider would be the usui pass map thats pretty popular on AC. idk how the copyrights and stuff would work but the 90sgdp maps are all goldmines as well

my gosh is this map fun
    but my guy...
you have got to fix those sticky guardrails
    or remove them
it ruins it when drifting you cant do a wall tap- you just get sucked into a vortex of bent metal...
i guess its something you cant really fix but nonetheless

that's all down to the fact of its a ported map so the guardrails wont be the same and if you have used the Mt Akina map then you realise to just get used to it really
