Crashes upon crashes - "GPU not responding"

    Hey guys!

    Recently got back into playing beam (I need to pass those 1000 hours) and noticed that the game crashes a lot.
    With a lot, I mean, A LOT.
    Every 1-2 hours the game freezes the entire PC for about a minute and crashes out with the error "GPU not responding".
    I have the newest drivers etc.

    PC Specs:
    i5 6600K (oc'd, but even on stock clock crashes happen)
    16gb corsair vengeance
    MSI RX 480 8GB

    If any more specific specs are needed, I am happy to reply with them :)

    Nothing?
    I have yet to find the error - I cleared all my cache files etc., reinstalled my drivers fully with DDU and installed the newest ones. Still happens.
