It was hodgkins lymphoma. Stuff like that can look like it has gone into remission and come back, but he could be talking about something else. :\ Most anything is preferable to that stuff. *shudder My dad had a type of lymphoma a couple years back. Had to remove an entire lymphnode in the left side of his cheek. My grampa had some sort of cancer from agent orange, asbestos (isn't that what agent orange used?), and smoking. Took him back in 2008 IIRC. (I would've been 9, so I don't remember well.) Cancer sucks, so I fold.
all of my aunts on my dad's side have some form of cancer, one has died from it. grandma had it, tho she died recently from heart failure.
Well I'm not dead don't worry. Dealing with all this in stride. Just busy as I'm planning on asking out a friend of some time tomorrow night. Protip #457, if you need girl advice, just ask another girl. Its really quite simple. Get your advice straight from the source instead of floundering around with your stupid man ideas.
I believe you are seeking for answers in the wrong thread. Might I suggest posting this same question under the support sub-topic or the questions sub-topic.
So, I dunno if any of you are into paintball but I got my first paintball gun awhile ago and my sister's friend had a bunch of cool paintball stuff and a nice gun for $100 so I got $80 and she said he said that that's fine. I got the box today and it has everything but the gun which to me is what made it worth that much. There's still neat stuff like vests, masks, a high pressure Co2 tank, a bunch of those NXE tubes or whatever they're called, some gun parts for said gun, etc. I'm really mad that I wasn't informed that for $80 I wouldn't be getting the gun. I want to at least get some of my cash back.. On the plus side a Joe's Wayback burger joint opened up in my town today and for 2 hours everything was free. It took them 3 tries to make a burger with just bacon on it but it was free so I didn't care. I'm still drinking a soda from it. EDIT: My soda cup has informed me that it's actually called Jake's Wayback Burgers.
I prefer real guns over paintball and airsoft type stuff, though I have gone paintballing a couple times and it was a blast. I have a Remington 597 .22 LR and my dad has two .22 rifles, a Remington 870 12 gauge shotty, a 12 gauge tactical shotgun, a .223/5.56 Nato AR15, a M&P 22 semi-auto pistol, and a Smith and Wesson .357 Magnum. Those are all a blast to shoot.
I've never even touched a real gun.. (At least not that I remember anyway.) I do have a couple airsoft pistols but I haven't used them in a long time. (Some cheap plastic Wal Mart spring loaded one and a decent Co2 powered one.)
My direct family doesn't own any, but both my uncles do. Only gun I remember the name of (That I've shot) is the AR-15. I also shot 2 .45 handguns, one .50 handgun, 1 .22 rifle, one .35 (?) rifle, and another .50 rifle. (That one hurt a bit.) Great fun, all on a range. Hit a milk jug from 400 yards with the .50 rife. (Had a scope and stand. It was designed as a hunting rifle, wooden stock didn't help with comfort. .)
Well, without a special license and a butt ton of money, you can't get a real M16A5. You'd have to settle for some custom semi-auto rifle. This is the gun my dad just recently purchased. It's a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 VTAC II Viking Tactics.
I'd be happy with just the Glock, I know handguns are better in self defense situations. But the M16 would be epic in a home invasion/ burglary
It's rather difficult sneaking up on someone who is already on there toes trying to sneak around themselves.
