The recall was over the failure of Toyoda additional floor mats not being properly installed so technically both the drivers and the company were at fault.

The hole diesel is worse then gas is so annoying. On a per gallon (or liter) yes it is but on average diesel vehicles get more MPG (KPL) then a gas vehicle and in theory it should be equal or even better over distance due to less fuel consumed not to mention the more power you can get out of diesel for the same size engine.

Well, FCA just recalled something like 800,000 vehicles due to "routine" emissions regulation failures.

If recalling 800,000 of your products is routine, you may want to think about... oh... I don't know... making a better product?

Oh, did I mention the Ford Windstar's rear axle rusting. and the Isuzu Rodeo's/Honda Passport's/Isuzu Axiom's frame rusting.

2011 Sonata, great car but the 2.4 liter engine burns oil like a 2 stroke. Getting it rebuilt for free because recall.
