Hi the motivation of you problem is the CPU and the RAM because the ryzen 3 sfortunatly it suck and the Ram it is not enough, you need 16gb of ram or more and a 8core at 4 or 3,70ghz and i hope that you have an SSD (if the cpu it suck is because this cpu is made for work not for gaming).
Goodbye i hope that your problem resolve soon.

Hi is not important if is 1600 or 2600 but if is the X version, because that version is made for gaming and if you buy a r5 2gen i advice to buy a mobo 4xx because is made for r5 2gen and allows you to upgrade your RAM until 3200mhz.

The 'x' version of the Ryzen chips aren't necessarily made for gaming anymore than the regular ones, they just have higher base and boost clocks, and there's no reason to upgrade his motherboard when a simple bios update and ram overclock can achieve the same performance as a b450 or x470 board.

Hi if he overclock the RAM it just risks breaking it and if the mobo isn't project to arrive at that power they break, i don't think that spend 70€ is too much even because a 4xx mobo cost under 100€.

I've never heard of someone breaking ram by enabling XMP, and the only chips that wouldn't work with a320 are 3rd gen ryzen, which he doesn't care about anyway. I've even seen people get 3600's working on a320, so he should be just fine.

For the breaking of the RAM just increase the overclock to the maximum and the BIOS say that overclock a thing is dangerous and a better mobo is usufull for the future, maybe he want to buy something new if the mobo is too old the thing work but detuned or don't work.
