Drinking Chickfila milkshake +whipcream in a moving car sans-straw sounds like a good way to make a mess
Because race car. Turtles are universally assumed to be slow, so if I have a lot of "turtle removing devices" in my car, then it should make my car faster because it would be less turtle like. The real reason is because my area is doing a straw ban, so I am stockpiling them for personal use and I might even sell them to make some cash.
the "USA bad" circlejerk is one of the most insufferable imo and it's seeped into every corner of the internet. It's propagated mainly by just jealous Europeans who fail to realize the flaws of their own country and instead focus on blind criticism of a country that they don't live in. It's related to the "suburbia bad" circlejerk too. "According to this 1993 study by the University of Phoenix, the geopolitical position of 17 Detroit suburbs affects the racial profiling and socioeconomic climate of blah blah blah." Just a bunch of people quoting random studies they find on page 1 of google over and over trying to prove a point. You'll say "Oh I like living in America/a suburb" and you'll get flooded with people trying to convince you to hate the country you live in or whatever. Yuck.
Oh, I like living in America! I wouldn’t live anywhere else, tbh. I like guns. I like pickup trucks. I listen to country music sometimes.
I, as an american, find the united states flawed and (currently) in disrepair, however I wouldn't live anywhere else. except maybe japan solely because I like the cyberpunk aesthetic, and I wanna smoke some chode in his Miata with my Dodge Dynasty.
