I have a quick question when I try to put on different rims that are not ETK specific the front always equip all terrain but the rears always default to 35 thick, not 45 is that on my end or?
It has came to my attention that i have mistakenly changed the file name, hence why the updates dont apply. Remove the mod named etk1300.zip and keep the etk900.zip one in there for now. Sorry for any inconviniences.
Hello, how do you fix this error? https://i.imgur.com/cHoIQjA.png I tried editing the .jbeams myself but that broke the mod, and I also cleared cache and reinstalled the mod. Edit: My game was outdated and updating it fixed the issue.
I love this mod, but I really think there should be an option for body-colored roof panels with sunroofs. (That sounds confusing, so let me put it this way: Currently, if you want a sunroof, the entire roof has to be black.) Additionally, it would be nice to have more interior colors, like beige and dark brown.
The Traction Control brake is fixed in the 0.18 update. You can now off-road with 3 open diffs with the All Terrain ESC, just like the 4Matic.
I'd be honest with the 1300, the proportions are a little odd. It's more like a skinny X5 than a X3, the body's height to width ratio is kinda high. The size of the area between the front wheels and the front seats also reminds of tall minivans, as does the height of the seat compared to the floor. There's a little too much vertical stretching of the 800's shell, maybe reduce it by about 10% for starters then analyse again. The front MacPherson struts are at the limit in camber control too. Camber changes are rather high in simple hard accelerating and braking. A good improvement would be looking into the suspension geometry of a X3 or other larger vehicles that use McStruts. Or maybe implementing an upper control armed design, maybe even the one from the Gavrils. (Only semi-related to the 1300 so it's in the tag, I guess) Spoiler Only to an extent, the TCS logic still works by comparing the speeds of the diagonally opposite wheel. Thus traction is still lost when say, the FR and RL wheels slip. The logic works better with 2WD but is ultimately more suited at calculating how much throttle to cut. For throttle cut in AWD, it would be good to look into adding wheel acceleration factors to the slip equation. (Then implementing it into ABS so we can have basic rear-axle only systems, but I digress.) For the all-open versions of 4matic, the WIP official e-diff logic would be able to work with slip across the same axle while the logic controlling the centre coupling may be reverse-engineer-able into implementing a braking effect on both wheels on the faster axle in order to shunt power to the slower axle. (This would also be good for implementing a brake-only traction control system into the RWD Grand Marshal.) Until then, a good project for LUA coders is to manipulate the current TCS logic into also comparing the speeds of the wheels on the same axle. Maybe also playing with how speeds are compared between the front and rear axle. These are possible already...
Im going to try and push an update for after new years eve to sort some of the stuff still left to fix.
Lots of things done today, full changelog and a file will be uploaded sometime this week. For now, enjoy this!
So, new update is in. Since my fuck up with the filename, should I go back to etk1300.zip or stay with Etk900.zip in the next update?
As you want, after all you are the creator of the mod If you really don't want to change the filename, no problem, it doesn't affect the mod !
That's what I thought, really wierd to screw up something like the file name with a car that currently doesn't exist.
