on the topic of insert speculation here, I recently noticed that the roamer and van have both exhaust stacks and derby cut hoods, suggesting that they will both get dirt racer/demo berby configs in the future (the appalling and the shocking?) the hopper also has some interesting bits. there's a rather interesting roofrack available for the hardtop, its meshes are located in common/offroadacc, and it currently isn't actually attatched to the body (it just slides off the roof). there is, however, a mounting bracket for it in the hoppler's mesh file. the hoppler also has some interesting rooflight mounts, that seem to be in the same position as the existing windshield bar, but mounted to directly to the body, and to the hoppler's roof, suggesting that it is (or was) going to get roof lights. in that offroadacc file, along with the rocksliders and offroad bumpers for the hopper, there's also this interesting looking set of roof lights, which look like they would also line up with the . the fact that it's in the common folder is also interesting, I wonder if that's just because it uses generic scratched metal textures, which it gets from the common folder to reduce overall file size, or if they're planned to also go on another vehicle. offroad Rᴚ hatchback anyone? and in case anyone didn't know, there's also a set of both netted and tube doors for the hopper, which are also currently unused. the eSBR also has an option for a welded rear diff, but not a welded front. I wonder if this is means it's getting a drift config? on other topics, the fact that they've gone to the effort of basically redesigning the entire hopper chassis for one config, it makes me wonder if we might see other vehicles get similar drastically modified configs. a moonhawk stock car perhaps? a burnside gasser? a group B/IMSA bolide?a RWD V8 drag legran? a formula-drift spec 200BX? maybe ferrettank will fulfill his dreams and make a full prerunner-spec sunburst? heck, there might even be a rallycross variant of the new hatchback.
After whatever this new car is comes out, do you think we're gonna get the Sadlad Bendover or yet another surprise?
Yeah, about that. Apparently Sony of all companies are making a new electric car. I used good ol' Google to look up this car and it doesn't look that pretty, but it doesn't look ugly either. It doesn't look like this upcoming vehicle for BeamNG though. I'm not sure whether or not we're gonna get a Soliad Wendover or a car like that after this hatchback/crossover vehicle to be honest. I kinda hope we do though. By the way, Sadlad Bendover sounds like a cool name for a car, doesn't it. I agree, this upcoming BeamNG vehicle (to me at least) does not look like that Sony car concept.
If we don't get the Sadlad I will probably riot, because I've been waiting for that car for almost 5 years at this point, since way before I even had the game.
No shit it's satire. OT: Okay so in all honesty, I think the new car is a crossover. I think this because it's one of the missing car body styles, and I believe what led everyone to believe it was a wagon was the angle of the camera making it seem lower. Also it could just be lowered and not properly raised due to it being in development.
You've been waiting 5 years for that car to get in the game? Fair enough Well, we might have to wait for Shotgun Chuck to confirm or deny that :/
Well considering that it's the last car on the "WIP" list, has been there since before I knew of this game, and is apparently being worked on to some degree, it would actually be pretty infuriating if they just went "lol, sry, too many cars like it already in the game, not going to make Wendover after all"...
Okay then. By the way, was that "I will probably riot" statement satire or not? Anyways, to contribute to this thread. I think a remaster to the caravan would be pretty nice. I think there should be at least 2 frame options for the caravan. 1. The current frame and 2. The 30 foot 2 axle frame. The interior could probably use a bit of an update eventually and there should be a keyboard button like O as a control to open the door. I think the devs should make the lights in the caravan interior work and I think they should also add a control to turn on the lights. Anyways, I think a update and expansion to the caravan would be nice. Quite a few users on here want a 30 foot caravan anyways That said, the devs can do whatever they want I agree with that statement. Anyways, I'm curious as to what people on here would think of a Canadian map.
It may come with a crossover variant, but the one we see in the teaser video is, to me, without a doubt a hatchback. We only have three modern cars: a midsize station wagon, a sports roadster type thing, and a compact sedan. We don't have a modern five-door hatchback yet. The bottom of the wheels are a reference point for where on the ground the car is. We can use this to see that the space between the bottom of the wheels and the bottom of the car is not large enough for it to be a crossover. Also note how large the wheels are. Most importantly, there is no black plastic body cladding along the edges of the car, which is something every compact crossover on the market has. If the body and wheels were completed to the point that they were ready to show it off, why wouldn't the suspension height be accurate?
