"The BRZ is a car that relies on being light, nimble and sporty, despite the fact that it weighs close to three thousand pounds."
In all seriousness, good job in this.

I'm not sure how to state this, but some models at spawn become red (headlights, RB splitter holds), at some point the rear and front dashes i think (the areas where the glass and the body intersect) disappear. Is it just me?

Hi guys, I tweaked the engine and modelled it to have a more realistic power curve (including the infamous torque dip!), as the current BeamNG engine produces wayy too much power giving it a sense that the brz is faster than it really is. OP's description explicitly said not to reupload so I'm not sure if its right for me to upload it, but I'd love to share it with you guys.

I also played with the transmission a bit and configured the automatic transmission variant to closely match the real life 6-speed auto of the brz :]

Edit: attached a photo of the torque + power curve

I made another jbeam file for the engine and modified the transmission file

Can you upload the file plsss? (Or PM me? :))
(If you just upload the files that you edited instead of uploading the whole BRZ.zip file I think you should be fine, but I don‘t really know. If you are waiting for a response of the author then that might take a while because he is inactive at the moment.)

You do realize there was a base model version with the correct specs, you might haveb= been using the stage 3 edition.

I think the only thing that doesn‘t match is the transmission. I checken on a forum and replaced the gearing

Alright I've uploaded the files. For those who don't know how to add them: Open the brz mod with an archiver and add the files in to vehicles -> brz

Credits go to OP for his work! Without it this would not have been possible

I also attached the power curve of the stock configuration (before I modified it). I'm not sure that's how it looks in real life, maybe there's something wrong with the brz mod I downloaded :<

Yes, the power curve matches the jbeam file I modified, but the original one OP tuned did not have the torque dip

This is really fun. I owned a 2013 Scion FRS for a while, and drove it on the street and at autocross quite a lot. I was running the stock Michelin Primacy HP 215/45R17 tires. The gearing, engine, and acceleration feel good. Power oversteer is easy in 1st gear but harder in 2nd gear. I find in real life you could get the back end out in 2nd gear a little easier than in this mod. But that's a very minor thing and there are a huge number of variables that would affect that. But overall it looks and feels very good. Let me know if you have any questions about the car :)

What? You don't have to do anything with the zip file itself. After downloading, drag and drop the file called ''brz'' in your documents>Beamng.Drive>mods
    I hope that helped. :D.
