I do not live in Ukraine. And those crashes cannot be compared because you can not replicate them, you don't know the speed, the angle, nothing. Crash tests can be compared and they do well there, even if you try replicating the photo one, the mod is gonna do considerably worse. Also you don't know the state the cars are in, in Beam, all the cars are in new condition, minus the beater versions. So the "the ones on the road are in bad condition" argument is bullshit, you could make a beater version to replicate that, but your whole mod cannot be based around that. Also that video is fucking shit, half of the crashes you can't even see the ending.
I still think ladas are unsafe cars, worse than Fiats, but stronger and better looking I've seen quite alot of aftermaths of them crashing, and everything seems to fly off and break. Coming back to the mod itself, the Jbeam is ok as it is, just the strength is a bit off
I would really like to see a western car crash like in the first video, you know, for comparison. Second one didn't do too badly. Look at the third one, which did worse? Fourth one can't see shit Fifth one, arguably Lada did better, the whole front of the bmw is destroyed, Lada only needs a fender and suspension arms. Again, very interesting how you would replicate the sixt one so that it's a fair comparison. Seventh is shot from quite far, but no pillar damage. Eight one isn't even a Lada. Even if it is, nothing can be seen Ninth - what am I looking at? An idiot? No crash results. Would like a comparison for the tenth one, keep in mind that was more than 64km/h,so ncap doesn't work Eleventh - again, shot from afar, but couldn't see any pillar damage, only front fascia and maybe fenders Twelfth - Did quite well, no pillar damage. 13 - minimal damage 14 - wow, what a spectacular crash, shame the video channel logo decided to play before the end...
I think you just don't have arguments good enough to continue the conversation. I don't want to be mean, but you should just agree with them.
Their arguments are bullshit. You can't say a car is unsafe from crash videos in which you don't know: 1. speed 2. angle 3. car condition I could easily post a video of a vw, bmw or some other car, getting absoltely destroyed by a truck or just driver error at high speed and be like "lol, what a pos, look how weak it is" I provided them pictures of actual crash tests, they completely disregarded them. The Fiat is weaker, Lada is stronger, fact, the mod is weaker than it should be. That's it.
@ladafan01 lets just and this! i opened beamng specially for you,here's whats up Real life Lada crash test (the car in the pics is brand new) vs Beamng Lada. Head on impact at 50 km/h vs beamng side impact 64 km/h (i searched 4 different articles just to find the speed and i was shocked) vs beamng car this show how unsafe ladas are. and if nekkit notices this, please make the jbeam a bit weaker, for our crashing enjoymenet. oh yes and flying windshields and rear locking brakes!=)))) edit 90 kmh impact and still isnt really matching
I think that polish fiats and ladas are both weak as s#@t, but you should be grateful for this mod and don't complain everything. If you make such a big mod yourself (and of course if it would be better than @Nekkit 's one) then we can talk.
Did you actually make it stronger? Because that's about what it should look like and looks a lot better than V1.0 Also the pillar shouldn't be any weaker, it's on point, on the crash test, the door opens and that weakens the structure. --- Post updated --- On the crash test, the door opens, the Apillar is fine
Look, the mod can't be completely exact to the real thing, though it is close. No need to carry on an argument not worth carrying, stop pointing fingers and saying one is incorrect without properly reading their reasoning, they could be wrong, but no need to get all argumentative.
