Hello! I have created a configuration for a car (ETK-K series) and I used mods to create it.So if I'll share the configuration (.pc file) will it work as intended,on my friends pc? If not what do I need to do for it to work?
Hi, Make sure your friend has all the mods you used to make it and the same version of the game of course. For them to use the config they can either select in the parts configurator or they can use "Show custom vehicles in vehicle selector" So basically yes it will work.
Thanks for replying,but if he doesn't has my mods,is there anyway for him to use my configurations? Or maybe I should create a seperate "mod" for him to download?
Well technically he can still use the configurations but the parts that you used with mods wont show up, they will just be replaced by the default parts.
So performance of car that I've had wont be available for him right? Is there anyway that you know to make it work for him as well,as how it works for me? Other than installing my mods.
If the engine you selected or the suspension etc was from a mod then he wont have the performance. The only way to make the mod parts work is to have the mods installed
So I think I'll need to create a seperate mod with those custom engines and stuff for him,so that he would install it all together. I see,thanks a lot for a reply and explaining,have a good day!
