so to get back on the topic of speculation, as I previously mentioned, what do you guys think about the possibility of convertibles?
I'm leaning doubtful. Some modders, one of whom is also a dev, have made them, but usually with the top down by default, and I'm not sure if they'd want to make the "invisible driver" that obvious. Someone also made a Barstow with a multi-mode power hardtop, but it breaks if you reset the car without setting the top to "fully enclosed" first. I'd love to see them do it but I'm not sure if it's high on the list of priorities right now.
it's modern and aggressive, with sharp lines and great proportions. i hope you aren't questioning it just because it's a '20s car; just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean it isn't sporty.
This usually happens when the devs haven’t given us anything in a while and there’s nothing to speculate about. It’ll get back on track again as soon as the devs tease something new, and then it’ll fall apart once more shortly after that. So the cycle goes...
Sporty: (of a car) compact and with fast acceleration -Google dictionary Focus RS 0-60: 4.7 seconds -Motortrend Focus size class: Compact Checks out to me. Concerning the convertible thing... I'm not convinced. That would be so complicated to do right. I still say a transverse V8 would be the best thing for the Wendover to get.
I wonder what phase two of the D series rework will bring. I think we can be confident we'll get the camper shell for the Bandit, but I'd imagine there has to be something bigger. They can't just release the top and call it "phase two". I'm wondering if there will be an interior revamp, or at least a gauge cluster revamp, if only because there is no tachometer for the diesel. It's possible they didn't make one because they knew they'd be reworking it soon, or it could be a simple oversight. It's also possible we finally get the long rumored tow truck variant. We've got the hydraulics needed in the Grand Marshal and Bluebuck, and we've seen chains work in Jbeam with the tow behind flail.
I wouldn't be surprised if phase 2 is also them adding all the reworked suspension to the roamer and van, and probably adding/updating configs for the van. as for the pickup, there might be lowrider suspension, and they might add front bucket seats for the bronchazer version.
No, I'm questioning it because it's a 5-door hatchback with mandatory pugface syndrome, trying to disguise its cab-forwardness with exaggerated front overhang. That doesn't look like "proper sports car styling" to me.
Considering it's been just about a month since Christmas, it's surprising that we haven't received a new hotfix yet (aside from the "fix for a common crash"). It makes me wonder if we'll be seeing one shortly. Has anyone compiled a list of reported bugs that have yet to be fixed, aside from the iGPU crashes?
In december someone calculated the average timespan between each major update with a nice style including all the dates of update 0.1X with like i said averages, i wonder if some of you guys could post that again if you would have your hands onto something like that
This is loading time from main menu to level, i meant the time between major updates. IIRC it averaged at around 95 days.
