I know this is an old thread, but is as close to this topic as I could find - on the BeamNG.gmbh research page, they say they are working on interoperability with OpenStreetmap... does this mean they are working to make it so that BeamNG would take the data from OpenStreetmap and draw the world (at least for a reasonable distance) or what? My confusion is because that seems like a stretch but also really cool if possible, as we could literally drive throughout the world. The reason I ask at all is that what they've done seemed like a stretch, but can now be done on my potato skin computer. (I say that as it is like a garnished potato )
