I usually say don't short the vehicle roster just because the current UI was made when cars only had 5-10 configs. I am still, but I usually do as well.

However, I don't think the Bluebuck needs any more factory configs with the parts it currently has. There's certainly things I'd like to see for her, but factory configs aren't one of them, bar any major additions such as a wagon.

I think a better idea fo enlarging the 60s fullsize roster would be making a Burnside version of the Bluebuck, and maybe a sporty Pontiac-/Dodge-like one.

there is too much of big bad Gavril going around these days (Burnside is a branch of Gavril) we need a late fifties or late sixties full size Bruckell to have proper competition between the two brands as there is nothing to stand up to the tyrannical giant called Gavril. Who here is in favour of a poorly built, slightly quirky yet will give any ol' big block Gavril a damn good thrashing to "show who really owns the road" kind of car !. Bring Back Big Bad Bruckells !!!

On the other hand, it would be too much work to make something too similar. A Burnside would make more sense from the time allocation standpoint.

Also, Bruckells are rather durable and conservative in their engineering.

I always got poorly built and stodgy however very solid vibes from Bruckell, and I can see what you mean by "similar" but that's what I meant by saying quirky, meaning it'd be something completely different from any Gavril, different engines, interiors, frames, dashboards etc etc… you get it right?, irl back in the fifties and sixties a Chrysler and a Ford would look like it'd be from two different planets, the styling is all different which im sure would just like it would be in the game. I understand that it may be a while before something that will compete against Gavril as there is a need for more modern cars right now and its up to the devs if they want to do anything about the unstoppable Gavril, but if they do it might not even be a Bruckell, it could be some other brand that no one has ever heard of.

In short I'm sure that if they made a car that was to go against something like a Bluebuck, then It would be a very different car despite some similar design thoughts otherwise it would just be just be a massive waste of time as you say

Even if the styling was different, it would still be a variation on the "60s American space baroque" theme, and so the mechanicals would be just another variation of the 60s American fullsize car archetype.

I don't really understand why Bruckell has basically been ignored...

I don't see a need for another 1960's American fullsized. I really would love to see a "compact" though. I love 1960's and 1970's American compacts like the Comet, later Ramblers, Falcon, Maverick, etc...

I was going to put Bluebuck suggestions here but my laptop decided "nope" and I don't feel like fixing that right now.

yeah the early and mid sixties were a bit bland, it got much better in the late '60s then had its peak in '71, the '50s were an outrageous time though however I doubt that anything like another fullsize will be coming to the game soon so maybe in future then... if at all that is

make that the two of us, Bruckell was high and mighty, the innovator not the imitator, then the '70s happened... I'm sure you all can put together what happens after that

I have tried multiple times today to make this post and I'm out of patience for this, so I'm just going to make this quick and not bother with details/too many images/etc...

Body styles: A sport coupe (think early Impala) could be a rare and valuable alternative body style, we really need some rare stuff for the career mode market. I don't really care for it on this gen Bluebuck outside of that. IMO wagons are better suited for midsize cars of this era. I would like to see one, though it's very low on my wish list. Not really feeling a utility coupe. I definitely would be if we ever get an older gen Bluebuck though.

    Aftermarket options:Yes.

Drag Racing: Gasser, altered wheel base build (very high on my wish list), tubed rear end, fiberglass front end, etc... A lot of cars in game could use a lot of that.

Dirt racing car: These can certainly get extreme to the point of upping the Hopper Crawler, but some of the less extreme features of these could be taken to make a dirt racing config.

Police content: Interiors in this game on the whole need more attention. The Bluebuck could probably get away with just a radio, with bonus points for a big "certified speedometer".
Some skins for Belasco PD would be cool too, along with alternative police lights.
Two of the classic NYPD liveries. Would make a nice set with the Bluebuck interceptor.

Option for a different light set up

There was a thread about the Bruckell Albatross that was a mock up sketch. Basically a late 60s-early 70s (71 if I remember correctly) car with leaf sprung rear suspension, and a beefy sub-frame similar to the 67-73 Chrysler Imperials (Okay that last part is mainly just MY hope so that we don't just get another full-framer ford/GM product)

I think the base variant was a 2 door coupe weighing somewhere between 4800-6,000 lbs. And obviously only big blocks would be available with such a car, as is tradition. Never saw an pre-74 Imperial come standard with anything but a 413 (pre-'66) or 440 C.I. (post-'65) And all the Imperials got 440 H.P. (high-perf) motors like in the muscle cars (big power and big money to collectors these days)

Anyways, before I ramble any further, something like that would be welcomed by me. A mammoth sub-frame car would really get me going seeing as we only have full-framer american cars aside from the barstow which doesn't really fit in the same class as full size.

I never liked the rear end on the moonhawk, it just looks way to retro-styled for a 70s car

Eventually, I hope that happens. There's a lot of potential for the BOF cars in BeamNG's lineup, to help ease the high ratio of three-box-to-other-bodystyles

This makes 3 of us. I wanna see a newer muscle car from Bruckell or a truck to compete with the D-Series or a Corvette-inspired sports car. There's so much potential for poor Bruckell.
