The car looks exactly the same. The only differences between the two images is the massively overhauled lighting, the fact that the pop-ups are open, and the field of view is a little different (which is likely what you perceive to be a difference in the Bolide).
Do you think we're getting more new props besides the rollers? Maybe even some J-beamed portaloos to crash cars through?
This thumbnail image is in the game files among the rest of the ETK 800 thumbnails: It is named research_electric.jpg. Fascinating, no? Unlike the rest of the thumbnails, there are no corresponding .pc or info.json files. I checked through older versions of the game, and it first appeared in the 0.18.1 update. Notably, that was when they retook all of the thumbnails with better lighting. One could assume that this means either an electric version of the 800 is being worked on, or it is (or was) being used as a test mule for an electric variant of the RR car. But I don't think that's the case. Why? Because one the ETK paint colors is named "Electric Blue." (I can't tell if the vehicle pictured here is Electric Blue or Sky Blue, but all signs point to the former.) My guess is that it was a regular test configuration to see how the lighting changes to the thumbnails would affect the paint colors. To summarize: I found something interesting that has no significance whatsoever.
Anyone see Gull's latest mod? Hot take: Career mode is getting major attention now, but is still a ways off.
I also found this thumbnail image: It's named DrivingDynamicsTest.jpg. As far as I can tell, it's just a regular 856tx Driving Experience with different wheels and paint. Though the name suggests it might have something to do with that AWD system Diamondback's working on.
it's also got the ttsport bumpers, it's likely an AWD ttsport with the dec livery. I think that's the one he's been using in the roller videos.
aprops etk 800, for some time in 0.18 the car had adaptive shockabsobers (or smth similar) you could fit it with, they didnt do anything, someone on the forum asked the devs about it and they stated it was put in the update by mistake, i think that this could tie in with the different driving modes the devs made a brainstorm for about a year ago... i think we might be getting updates to all the modern cars with better AWD/differntials adaptive suspension steering etc...
I think Beam needs more PowerGlow cars, so here's my proposal for what a PowerGlow Autobello would look like: Thoughts?
