The Track Builder never got the love it deserved, so I decided to do a series of TRACKMANIA inspired tracks.

BEAMNG.mania Glow City is the first series and will be expanded to the other environments. There will be a white, green, blue and red series with 5 tracks each.

If you are interested I will post the first prototype of the BEAMNG.mania Glow City White Series and we can compete for the best times. :)

First 3 tracks are now available as 1.0 in the mod section.

This is the first pack of 5 tracks for the White Series. These tracks aren't too hard and around 30s long. I am looking forward to some feedback. And your completion times. :)

The tracks are all balanced for the Civetta Bolide 350 but feel free to try some other cars.

You might get more responses if you combine these into one file and submit them to the track builder section of the repository as a full-fledged official mod. Check out this page on the wiki for directions on how to put a mod on the repository.

@G-Farce Yes you just download those files and drop them into your mods folder. After that you click on time trials or the light runner mode a the tracks should appear.

@YellowRusty Thanks for the tip. I just took a look and it seemed to be a even better way to offer mod to the public.

Could you make a trackmania press forward track? I'm not sure if its possible.

Press forward tracks are not possible in BeamNG since the physics are nondeterministic.

Good tracks. I'd like the next series to be just a little longer but not as hard

Right! I'll try that. Talking about your past tracks, I love the concept but still I found them a little bit too platform-like for my tastes. I'd prefer if the tracks themselves were 2x longer in future and maybe a little wider won't hurt. I'd say 1 minute tracks is around right.

My POV is that when I download a single track to play it, I want it to be a cohesive experience. I want to spend as little time as possible outside of the track (ie, off game, in menus selecting a new track when I could be playing) Having tracks be a little longer but easier means:
    • More likely to feel satisfied with what I downloaded
    • More likely to complete it
    • More likely to feel the level was fair and made to be played casually but has a high skill ceiling.
