Curious what you guys have manged to get onto one map at one time while still having a playable game. I managed to get 30 different vehicles on while staying around 15 fps. Main reason I didn't do more is because i sort of ran into my 16 gb ram limit. My CPU was right around the 90% mark too. CPU: Ryzen 7 3800X at 4.24 gHz Ram: Corsair Vengeance 3000 mHz GPU: MSI Ventus OC RTX 2070 Super Mobo: MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge Wifi Cooler: Corsair H115i Platinum I'm utterly impressed with this build. This is at max graphics on a 1080p 165 hz monitor, and with up to 5 cars it stays around the 120 fps mark. There's no reason to have 30 cars on a map at a time, but damn, its nice to know I can do it. Lets see your records, be it Intel, AMD, Core Duo or Phenom!
It depends on what kinds of cars you spawn, more specifically the complexity of the jbeam structure. Something like a traffic cone can be easily spawned dozens of times, because it's very simple. On the other hand, only a few T-Series-es or Wentwards can be spawned without chugging the game as they are very complex. Also, yay 800th message.
Thats why i chose to spawn different cars for every vehicle. that way its kind of fair test and how the traffic would spawn
Just spawned up 20 default D-series on gridmap before I plateaued at 15 FPS. I'm pretty happy with that, as I don't think I'll ever need to spawn 20 cars... (Also this is with all settings on high and dynamic reflections enabled)
