Released Gavril Engines AND SOUND! 10.5

UPDATE: I have most of all of these issues fixed. Unfortunately the custom sounds are gone and the stock sounds (which are pretty good now) are in place. Should I update the resource, or would that be upsetting since the cool sound is gone? :/

 

Well the ingame sounds are just fine, I'm sure, but I dont wanna speak for everyone.

 

I would love if you could add the stock 5.3 vortec engine in the 2004 silverado to beamng and also the same engine sound too as the Silverado

After the last update, your mod as well as some others that add Engines to the Gavril D-Series has a bug that when equipping such mod engine the transmission and exhaust are dropped hitting the ground, the vehicle runs and the exhaust works normally, but when passing through some obstacles these pieces break. i tested your mod with no other installed to make sure it is not a conflict / bug with any other.

Hey I know this is an old thread everybody, and I'm sorry to bring it out of the dead, but the engines this guy made made were an amazing addition to Beamng when he released them. Had no issues with them and that big honkin 7.8 V8 was fun to swap into small work trucks and run on the dragstrip.

To the mod producer: You should definitely release this latest update, bonus points if the clearance issue with transmission/exhaust is fixed. Really hope you didn't give up on this mod, would love an updated version to be released. I miss being able to use the engines and not have motor mount issues as the latest update of Beamng has added. Really hope you update these engines for sure!

Ah, I see. Sorry to bring back a dead thread, just this was honestly one of my favourite mods due to the 7.8 V8. Hopefully somebody else might pick this mod up and update it.

 

Shouldn't be too hard, if nobody else does it and i have no projects wip i might do it.

 

Really? You'd have my appreciation for life man!!! That'd be sooo cool. I found a "572" v8 in the repository that should hold me over for now haha, mind you it's pretty broken ATM. The sound and polish of the 7.8 in this pack was awesome! Just missing it a lot since the last update really broke this pack.

 

It might not be made too early though, rn i'm waiting for a new pc to continue my current project and it might take some time. I'm also not sure if i'll be able to fix it.

 

That's all good, if you can't you can't. It's the thought and effort that counts.

 

It's been 2 months already, sorry, i forgot about it and then i couldn't find the thread, the issue is there are no engine mounts since they were added after the mod was released, but i can't figure out how to add them so it'll take some more time.
