So, since the wagon body's been shortened, there's one issue with the running boards sticking into the rear wheels now.
Good one, thanks! Thanks for the compliment and for the suggestion! I'll look if I can let it rotate. Good one. The wagon is based on the crew cab frame and body. After shortening it, the dimensions are more like the extended cab. I already changed the mufflers, I forgot this one.
The fan is a clutch fan So it doesnt spin until the engine is hotter than operating temperature It works fine for me! Again, thank you so much and of course @SergentFido for keeping this mod alive. *edit* Here is a video, showing the fan working as intended!
AI compatibility issues: Prerunner won't run Station interior gets loose Stretcher drops from ambulance Hay bales will drop There are similar additional cargo dropping problems with T-Series addon. AI can handle D35 Logger and steel coil lorry, that's about it. Thank you for the outstanding mods and keeping them up to date.
What mods conflict with this? I spawned in a regular d series and theres a break in the left side of the front bumper when it spawns and it scrapes as your drive. Only happens when I enable this mod. Anyone experiencing this?
Managed to match my IRL Suburban pretty well, or at least what it will look like when I get a bumper and roof rack. I am also having texture issues, I'll attach a screenshot of the consol. And a couple of suggestions to work on if you're bored one day (not likely I know). Some smaller old style mirrors would be neat, the current smaller ones are still pretty big. Some rock sliders would also be a great addition.
Hmm, I probably forgot to add a proper skin map to the oldstyle windshield... Thanks for the report! I'm glad you like the mod and thanks for pointing that out! Thanks for you bug report! I've only checked for the prerunner, but when I use the AI console and just let it drive it will just drive... What happens at your side? Thing with the haybales is that it should be driven really carefully. I can strengthen the attachments between the haybales and the trailers/flatbeds a bit, but wouldn't that take out a part of the fun? I'll look into the stations interior and the stretcher issues. Are you using beamng v0.18 and my mod version 0.7.2? My mod should not override original parts, so the regular d-series parts are untouched... Indeed... Do you've got a picture of your Suburban posted on this forum? I'd like to see it. Are you using mod version 0.7.1 or 0.7.2? I thought I solved the issue in 0.7.2... The material is still in the .DAE but not being used. I see that the rollbar lights are still orange... I rather update my stuff first before creating new parts. Especially new parts which require new flexbodies and textures will take loads of time. I just checked, they are different (I was afraid I did something wrong reading your post ) but indeed they are not that different in torque/power. The specs are just a copy of the original Barstow V8 engines...
Love the update, the SUV looks much more appropriate at its new shorter length. Like a Suburban to the Roamer’s Tahoe. Adding to that, I’d love to see the SUV get expanded upon—maybe even spun off into its own mod one day. I’ve compiled a list of things I’d love to see be added sooner or later: Roof rails, or a more factory-spec roof rack like on the Roamer. A separate slot in the vehicle selector and a name other than “Station.” I’m not going to suggest any name in particular because I think it should be left up to you should you want to do it, but I just think it needs to be separate, like how the Roamer has its own slot and isn’t called the “D-Series SUV.” A door handle and lettering for the rear barn doors. More support for regular D-Series parts (right now, it seems as though it was designed with oldstyle parts in mind). Stuff like regular trim for the body and the option for non-chrome seals for the rear side windows. The roof is available as a selectable part, so it would be as easy as choosing between “Roof” and “OldStyle Roof.” More configurations (if spun off into its own slot, Roamer-style trim levels/names would be a great idea). Right now there aren’t any stock configurations for the SUV—only the Overland and Police ones. Third row seats, both front and rear facing, like the old version of the mod. Also carpeting for the rear of the car like regular SUVs. An optional vertically-opening two-piece tailgate. The Suburban was available with both this and barn doors, as was the original version of the mod. This is the biggest stretch of all, but it would be really cool if you made an even shorter version on the standard pickup frame and called it the 1988-1991 Roamer. Just an idea. I understand the mod as a whole is still a work in progress and you’re very busy. I just wanted to offer some suggestions, and it’s not a huge deal to me if you ignore them. Also, a few bugs to report: the SUV's camera is still carried over from the much longer crew frame, when it should use the long bed frame's camera instead, and the top of the barn doors still cave in if shaken too hard (i.e. going over a jump).
I used Main menu wheel traffic. Prerunner tries very hard but just can't drive. On respawn it keeps stalling and restarting or gives up. Tested with AiControl app and it got running but only when mode: off. AI drops the hay bales through or inside the flat bed.
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet but I have noticed with this mod that part of the engine compartment stretches and then disappears. I noticed that I could hear a crunching sound whenever I spawned in a D-series (vanilla ones included) I narrowed it down to this under-hood issue. I did go through the process of uninstalling all my mods and checking each one individually to see which one was causing the issue and found it was this one. keep in mind this a very minor issue as it does not seem to impact drivability or handling in any way and is purely visual. And this does not detract from the fact that I think this is one awesome mod. just thought I'd let you know. p.s. I know I'm being long winded I just wanted to explain my troubleshooting and be thorough with my description
one little thing with the 4-link setup on the d-series, It works great after some suspension tuning and some patience's, but is there anyway that the Hopper crawler suspension could be integrated into the rear 4-link and the front I-beams(front suspension)? I think, 1 it would give it more of a pre-runner look, and 2 I feel like the coil and shocks on the truck now don't have the proper performance a pre-runner should have. but at the end of the day this is only a suggestion, and cant even make mods ,but in other words the mod pack is amazing definitely a lot of fun.
Love your mods! It may have been addressed already, but the trucks like the rollback or wedge have very little steering angle.
A update is awaiting approval. Do you guys know that there are multiple bedloads available? I mostly see the ones which are in a config. (just curious ) Great you like the shortened body. I rather not separate the wagon from the regular D-series as they are sharing most of their parts. Like it is now, other D-series mods can be applied to the wagon as well. It is still very WIP, the jbeam structure could have some finetuning as well. Other things you mention are indeed nice to haves (tailgate third row seats, other D-series trims etc), but require, like you say, quite some work. For the upcoming version I've added rear door handles, roof rails and a oldstyle basic config. The 'Gavril' tailgate letters skin can be applied as well That prerunner AI thing is weird. I've spawned 6 instances (3 oldstyle, 3 modern), 2 of them got somehow stuck on the middle of the road. One of them could be 'saved' by setting the mode to 'random' and back to 'traffic'. I don't know what the cause is. Maybe the tall wheels in combination with low torque in low RPM causes the engine to stall early, freaking out the AI thinking it is stuck? When they do drive, they do tend to crash though Thanks for the complete description of the issues you found That engine compartment stuff should be finetuned, but other (original) BeamNG cars let engine bay stuff dissapear as well during a crash... The crunch sound is (at least what I found) the prerunner rear suspension, the spring is decompressed at spawn quite a bit causing quite some stress in some beams and thus this sound. The upcoming version (v0.7.3) has improved bump stops, effectively increasing the suspension travel. This small adjustment feels like a huge improvement to me (screenshot is with an increased gravity value) Which version of this mod are you using? This should be solved in version 0.7.1... Look at the first post of this thread for FAQs, known issues and ideas.

Great work on the mod! Happy to see you are back creating amazing mods Maybe you could make the dually wheels also fit allroad tires like the 8 lug front wheels can do. It might also fit better with the offroad ambulance.
