Monster Truck Thrash This track is ready for you to race and freestyle on! It has a freestyle and racing track and there is a jump over 10 containers. Have Fun!
The Blank2 file is just normal blankmap. The Monster Truck Trash file is my custom map. Blank Map 2 is for the textures to work.
But I made blankmap2 so people didnt have to hunt down a map in order for it to work. Rename all the textures and make it standalone. Especially when all the textures are in your map are in blankmap. So the download size stays the same, so might as well make it standalone
Yet another world finals (WF11) ill never finish until we can place cars sideways instead of one fixed position, but still fun. no it doesnt have any cars yet because i dont know if i wanna finish it
Every time I try to resize the terrain it makes the paint too big is there any way I can just multiply the current terrain and change the name?
Orlando Custom - Motor Madness Everyone seemed to like this so here it is Requires Stubby Bus mod: https://www.beamng.com/resources/stubby-bus.3565/
MASTERPIECE. I was worried from those photos that it would be too cramped, but yet again, this is another Jedi masterpiece. Some of those jumps bring a new meaning to the term "custom" in this game, and i love it. 5/5.
Okay so a lot of people know im trying to recreate all the old MJWF in beam, but its quite tough because of all the crush cars. well after an all night thing i seemed to model the moonhawk pretty close using thousands of less verts. this is the first test if ran with them and im pretty happy. They are noncrushable therefore saving fps. each car saves about 4-6 fps. so i traded out 8 of them on wf1 and gained about 25-30 fps roughly. this is just a start. i want to do at least one more modern type of car, remodel the van in beamng to make it the same way, a container, a bus, and maybe a trailer depending on how long the others take. this is just an option for an fps version of a track or if your making a track with a lot of cars that you dont need all contactable and crushable. I have not completely figured out the easiest way to color/ texture so for now this is what its gonna be. but imma continue working on these in the future. Please let me know what yall think and what can be improved! let me know if yall like! (For those wondering, ive tested and abused them for about an hour and only had one tire pop and 0 grabbed) EDIT: I need a vote if the texture looks better all yellow (above) of better with black windows (below)
Absolutely yellow and black. looks more realistic that way. In real life the crush cars have no windows left, so if you're going to have them with windows, the black just looks best.
I mean the FPS friendly cars posted in this group do the same thing and are crushable, the only problem with them I have is that I can't change the color, I had 23 of them spawned up and I was still at 80FPS, and my computer is far from the best out there
I am thankful that it was made but, the thing about the FPS crush car is that it has a tendency to stretch when its hit which can get annoying. Also since there isnt a full size FPS car. Not sure if anyone is working on one yet, but an FPS crush based on the olds/chevy would be wonderful.
Does anyone know how to put terrains on Collision after I spawn a new terrain the actual land isn’t on collision and the truck floats over it then if I move it up the truck goes through it
ah nice, would be nice to have a FPS friendly van, that's one thing that was missing, also a trailer would be nice, the dry van in game loves to eat tires and maybe with less nodes it won't be as grabby, I'll probably hold off on my Houston 2/2/2013 map so I have FPS friendly cars that are the right color, I was cutting out 4 cars on that map and replacing them with terrain (it was 2 tabletops so it wouldn't change the map really at all) and using normal cars so I had the right color
