I'm new to content creation and I was wondering if it was possible to import cars from GTA V as I am absolutely terrible at modelling. My goal is to be able to import a vehicle, do all the necessary touch up and make a fully functional creation.

Welp, you won't get anywhere without practice

As for importing a car, it's somewhat a pain in the ass, as you need a special script that can covert the GTA format to something more "reasonable" (.dff?), then open it in Blender, separate all the body parts, suspension etc. It definitely takes some time to do that

I'm willing to do whatever it take, I've got the time on my hands to do so. I'm going to try my hardest to achieve this because like everything, once I practice more I will get more efficient. This is what I was thinking of starting with https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/...-clean-deweaponized-add-on-liveries-templates

Surprised you're getting help in all honesty. Lots of people complain that mods aren't scratch made

Awhile back I ported the atv from gta 5 to beamng. First off you need some way to get your hands on the model. I got the model by searching for gta 5 source files for download. Once you have your hands on the model, you need to separate different parts of the vehicle (It usually comes as one solid model) Afterward all you really need to do is make a proper jbeam for the different parts and your basically done. The texturing should already be completed if the model was from another game.
