Released D15 Bandito 2.3

i have a massive problem with this mod. when ever i try to spawn a bandito or swap another d-series's frame with the bandito's frame MY WHOLE COMPUTER CRASHES! i have no idea why and i cannot test this further! PLEASE FIX IT!

 

The latest game update overhauled the D-Series, so now all mods based on it are broken. Not sure why your entire computer is crashing, but I wouldn't count on a fix anytime soon, since it seems an official replacement is coming (see the devblog) and Reactor hasn't been seen since August.

 

The mod is out of date. In order for him to fix it, he would have to overhaul the entire mod. check game updates to mod updates, and dont demand a fix for a mod that is clearly out of date.

 

Looks like an awesome vehicle but, I cant use it. Just explodes and the game pauses...

Ah man, I absolutely loved this mod. It was fun making the D-Series look more like a Ford and less like a Chevy.. We would have been able to make it look like an Old early 70's Bronco with AR162B's D-Series Addon mod..
I really hope this mod gets an update so we can love it even more..

 

There's already an official short frame and body, and the rear shell for it is coming soon. If you just want the Bandito Fascia, here (make sure to remove the front valance when you select it):

 

Oh wow, thank you so much for that! I really appreciate it, I was using the outdated mod just to use the front facia and a few times I accidently selected the wrong short frame and it froze my game cause there are two short frames with the Bandito mod installed lol.

This update available to download? The page says last updated august 28th, but this one is Feb 12. But no feb 12 download

 

February 12, 2019. Almost exactly one year ago. The mod was last updated on August 28th, which was six months later. The mod is currently outdated and does not work.

 

Oh shit lmaoooo I'm blind I didnt see the 2019 lol

 

Needs updating to support newest beamng update when i spawn it in it just loads forever then my game crashes.

 

There's already a short frame for the D-Series in-game. A shell and an interior will be released in an upcoming update.


Also, the creator has been gone since last August.

it looks like the older bronco made by ford wich makes me able to think more that the d series is a ford truck, but it doesent work thogh

Also, this mod has a vanilla counterpart (The Gavril D10 Charro) and has not been updated for nearly 4 years.

Merry Christmas I guess,
wanted to try and get this thing in a playable state again, so I've spent the past few days working on fixing this, and I think its gone pretty well.




Added PBR to main surface (textures done by my sister as she has experience in texturing software),
Added custom config,
Edited configs,
It is still buggy, but it works.

Spoiler: Notable known issues

Tinted glass does not break,
Fascia lights do not break,
No openables,
Parts of the car are colourable when they shouldn't be because we had no idea what we were doing when we were converting it to PBR, we may have another go at fixing it at some point but if you know what the issue is then please let us know as it will save us a lot of time,
Some parts may not work with this due to the outdated jbeams of this car.

I am aware there is now a vanilla counterpart (not the one pictured above, that is this mod) that basically replaces this thing but I decided to just fix it anyway.
Please also understand that this is a very old mod and lacking newer features and details.

Don't have much else to say really other than enjoy.

Some photos are using the CK Dynamic Skybox mod and maybe the Additional Presets pack but I've forgot
