Wheel differences in game vs the controller

    Is there an option to make the wheel in game directly proportional to the controller, for instance if you put quick ratio steering on a car, the wheel still needs to be turned all the way foir full lock. Or if a vehicle like the FR17 is being used that only has 180 degrees of rotation, you still need to rotate the controller the full 900 degrees.
    Is there a way to turn this feature off?

    I recall this is only possible for Steering Wheels, where you can leave the angle at zero, and the game will apply a soft-lock when it reaches the full-lock of the vehicle you are using.

    I'm sorry but I don't think I follow, is there a way to disable this soft lock or is the game built so that the wheel rotation in game is always stretched to the controller?

    It is not possible on the controller, it will always cover the stick full motion range.

    Sorry I used the wrong word, is it possible for a wheel? Is there an option so that I can use a semi-truck as the steering is condensed, however swap to direct steering for the f1 car for example.

    It depends on how a vehicle is set up iirc, early versions of the Trackfab SL mod had that, but tbh... Soft lock doesn't quite work well enough, as its wayy too soft. You'd have to look at steering hydros on that to get the beam properties right.
