Update Speculation thread

Lol, a Burnside version of the LWB Roamer would be fantastic. These old American luxury SUVs always end up in the same place-
2002- Vehicle is purchased by a mysterious, tax-evading individual who local police are certain is running a meth house for the affluent in a newly constructed, upper-middle-class housing development.
2002, two months later- Vehicle is purchased by an upper-middle-class 50-year-old man, where it serves as a daily driver.
2009- Vehicle is gifted to the man's teenage daughter.
2010- Vehicle is involved in a small accident. The slightly damaged vehicle is sold.
2012- The vehicle, which has been bouncing around used car lots for a little bit, comes into the possession of a drug dealer.
2013- Drug dealer is brutally murdered inside the vehicle. Said vehicle is then tied up in a strenuous legal matter.
2020, present-day- Vehicle is up for auction, bloody leather seats, bullet holes and all.

this may seem oddly specific, but a lot of luxury SUVs from this time period likely have suffered the same fate.

 

Since ya'll are talking about Roamer pickups and Burnside Roamers... here's 2 little mockups I threw together:

Exactly, synsol already made a mod for this, though I'm glad that the XLT Roamer is gonna be an official game vehicle soon.

I'm not a 100% sure about the Burnside Roamer, but a Roamer pickup would be pretty cool in my opinion.

Spoiler: A suggestion for a vehicle update in this box so that way crazikyle doesn't have to read it :P

I honestly think the Pigeon needs an update. I think it needs more configs, an exterior and interior update, and possibly a 4 wheel version. Now, I know there are plenty of mods out there for the Pigeon. However, I still think the Pigeon could use an update. I don't think the Pigeon is bad, but it (in my opinion) needs a revamp badly.

 

I wonder how the electric Viviace will handle.. I much prefer the handling of the ESBR to it's gas counterpart, so I wonder how the new car will handle with electric power.

For a potential luxury version of the Roamer (Burnside), I'd love to see a god awful-factory option, satellite navigation system unit placed in the dashboard with a completely redesigned button layout to go with it.

I'm wondering if we'll finally see a H-Series passenger van in the coming update. It'd be cool if we did.

 

I think we will. It would make sense, as we’ve gotten more content added to the Roamer and D-Series and we were promised more.

 

I'd honestly be surprised if we don't see an H-Series passenger van. D-Series and Roamer both have alt body styles now. An extended and conversion/camper van are the big questions for me concerning H-Series bodies.

 

I'm not so sure about new - that looks older to me with its sealed-beam headlights and squarer styling. Could we finally be seeing that legendary D-series de-facelift?

 

Found a part of ECUSA that might be a great place for missions. Maybe a place to pick up or deliver contraband.

That's the Navigation app; you can find it and add it to your UI like any other app in-game.

There seems to be a commonly held misconception on this forum that the Ford Explorer is in the same size class as the Gavril Roamer and Chevrolet Tahoe. It is not, and never was. It was a mid-size body-on-frame SUV from 1991 to 2010, after which it was moved to a mid-size crossover platform. The first generation, made from 1991 to 1994, was on the same frame as the Ranger, a small pickup truck. Subsequent generations (until 2011) were all on their own dedicated mid-size body-on-frame platforms. The Tahoe, Roamer and Ford Expedition are all full-size, body-on-frame SUVs, and all share a frame with their respective brand's full-size pickup truck (Silverado/C/K, D-Series, F-Series).

The Suburban, Roamer LXT, and Expedition EL/MAX are all extended versions of the standard full-size SUVs, based on the long bed frames of their respective brand's full-size pickup truck.
