I did the same thing, but I had the same realization halfway through my second year of highschool. Thats when I decided to basically do the bare minimum of work/classes and graduate early. I am so much happier now because I have learned to stop caring and worry about things. I would be in college if I stayed on the same path that I was on in the beginning of highschool. Instead I am pursuing my dreams to become a mechanic. I have no regrets, minimal stress, and there are endless possibilities for employment once I am ready to get a job.
