I hope we will recieve some enhanced weather visuals in not far future. Which will be customizable (hd rain, fog, shadow, lighting) I've done some fixes to screenshot which I took from rainy etk map (car_killer creator). I can say for sure that lighting is good in this game as it is, I mean shadows. But for different weather there's a different lighting, what I couldn't fix on the screen is clear weather's sharp edged shadows which is just impossible to witness during rain. I really hope to see visual enhancement in near patches, especially weather. And one last thing, car textures reflections need revision as well. It's the same % of reflections on each part of the car, which is not right, even if it's godly polished.
first off, and this is not possible without EXTENSIVE changes to the engine, and fps would be slower than ever with people who have underpowered computers but yeah OP please use the search button
Did I say I want it right now, on the next patch? Next thing, emulating rain is not that hard, change skybox, change light, add rain paritcles which already done by community. That's literally no work, but if you want a real rain, so then yeah, that's a lot of work Edit1: Also make slippy road, which is already done on map Winter east coast. Everything is possible right now, but they keep adding cars, it's time to stop I think
im just explaining that it won't come in a long time if it ever does. and yes i know you can already do that, i am creating a storm ECA in fact. And please use the search button. this has already been talked about many many times. oh well i guess i explained this wrong.
I can imagine it.....lag spike then.....giant trench --- Post updated --- Maybe not occurring during the game (mega lag)but maybe already on some unserviced roads?
Hurricanes are possible. Rain has supposedly been mentioned by the devs, and we already have wind. Hurricanes would be a combination of the two.
There is a map with black hole in Utah. So I thought that hurricane can be the same point of gravity but moving randomly and add to that some dust/gravel particles spinning around the epicenter on the ground. The gravity will suck you in if you get close enough
