I am making a old engine for the Burnside and was just wondering if it is possible to make the engine sound rougher or smoother on acceleration and idle? And is it possible to make the engine and exhaust burble?
The help would greatly be appreciated. And will Cam Profile ever be properly simulated. And is it possible to simulate VVT and VVL and Bypass Valves? And about the speed of exhaust gasses? (Header lengths, Exhaust Pipe Length). And What Bout Exhaust Diameter, proper sounds for engines of different displacements, Head and Valves Type, Air-Fuel Ratio, Ignition Timing, Compression, Different Lengths per header?

All of these can be "simulated" but only by manipulating the torque curve of the engine. If you want to simulate all these more directly Automation will allow you to achieve that, and then export the engine to Beam where it will be "dumbed down" to a simple torque curve.

If you want to make this engine more customizable check out this mod for inspiration - https://beamng.com/resources/rks-highly-customizables-engine-i5-and-v8-35-60parts.10583/

Will it ever be possible to modify the speed of the intake/exhaust gasses with the sound changing depending on the speed of the gasses as well as the compression ratio that changes the sound as it goes up or down? (Not counting the Automation Engine Designer update)

No, that's way beyond the scope of the game.

is there a way to make the engine/exhaust sound more rough or smooth under acceleration and idle? and is it possible to make engines/exhausts burble or will it ever be possible?

You asked the same question twice now in this thread. DiamondBack explained that it is beyond BeamNG's Capabilities, so there's your answer. No, at this time it is not possible to adjust the reactive sound from the exhaust/engine.
