You misunderstood them. They didn’t say it would come out in 9 months, they said it would come out within the next 9 months.

    The TCS improved a lot.

However the ESC is not getting improved, as showned in the video, the ESC still won't take any action to correct understeer.

The "adaptiveBrakeLights" is in the ESC code, IIRC.

That's correct. None of the Vivace models showed so far had a working ESC.

Just at a thought, wouldn’t it be simpler to copy the codes from a car like the Sunburst instead of having to code a whole new one? It just occurred to me.

It would but the sunburst is a much earlier car than the vivace so technology would've had to improved a whole lot over 11 years.
And it's also a completely different brand to Hirochi so why would they copy it. That's just lazy.

You have a point, but maybe it could be from a newer car or an updated Sunburst ESC system.

The sunburst isn't connected to Cherrier though, it's not a shared brand like say Toyota and BMW with the new Supra

Yes, but what I mean is that they are not connected rather it uses the codes, not anything to do with the brands.

Oh, well they would still need to update it a hell of a lot thanks to the time difference between the cars production years and the time between actually making them into beam.
I think the ESC would probably be easier and more beneficial to completely make from scratch because of how new the Vivace is.

All of the current cars use the same ESC/TC system, and in the future all our cars will use the new system ;)

Will this new system be a "predictive" ESC/TC system or will it intervene once traction is already lost? I have a mod for the ETK800 using existing ESC code to predict a skid, lock-up, or wheelspin and almost continuously make little nudges to prevent a possible loss of control. It definitely felt a WHOLE LOT smoother than stock ESC.
A certain Japanese luxury brand does this "predictive ESC" (starts with an L).
