IA Script Manager

    Yesterday I discovered the script and after many hours of using it, I have seen that when I record a route the AI really follows it very badly. If I make a fast curve the AI goes out or crashes and it is quite frustrating. Do you know when this tool will be improved? I'm doing something wrong or is the level if IA? I upload a video for see what i mea. I'm the 2 car

    The ScriptAI will follow your route and speed (with a margin of error), not your driving skills.
    If you are doing something out of the norm, (ie. drifting), it won't replicate it.

    In the video, the route is really tight for the margin of error, which is not good for this tool.

    Apart from small fixes, i'm afraid that there is not that much that we can do concerning scriptAI as it was build for a different purpose (trying to follow a path).

    In more detail, the scriptAI only records the positions and timings of certain points in a path. It doesn't record a "driving performance". When it follows a path it'll simply try to go through the points in the timings that they were recorded as best as it can do. If the path recording is beyond the "skills" of the AI driving algorithm it'll start to deviate from the path more and more. My suggestion when the scriptAI fails is to try to reduce the "skill level" that is required to go through the path so that AI can manage to follow it.
