Another update, fixed the regular taillights so there should be no more translucency. Also, I got rid of the turn signal sounds so they can only be heard on the inside but kept the speed chime (they can still be heard on the outside of the car but disabled in the parts selector). I also adjusted the 20V engine so that it would be more like it is in real life, but the original torque curve and rpm limit can be brought back by using the sport intake.
could you try altering the 20V sound cus it sounds very wrong to me. also if possible could you try adding the 3A-U (SOHC version of the 4A-GEU) and AE85 trim? I know it probably wont happen but eh some people want it
Not sure if these are the sounds you are looking for? I also cleaned up the slot system a bit and gave lhd all of the steering wheels. I got the sounds from Ezo's skyline mod (there were 4age sounds in there as well as the rb26 sounds (obviously used the 4age sounds)) and added some from this video for the off load sounds. I also just realized that the soundscape block was missing for most of the body styles so I fixed that. I also added the 3A-U engine with a scaled down moonhawk i6 for the model and an abysmal (yet realistic) torque curve (I guess, not a lot of info on the engine, so I improvised). EDIT: Also including STEVIE_G4M1NG_YT's rhd camera fixes.
I don't think you got the specs right, from what i've read the 3A-U it's supposed to make around 80-83, not 40 like in the game. And another thing, also about the power of the other engines, the 4A-GE makes 130 hp in real life, the one in the game around 80 and the 20v makes 125hp in the mod, the real one, form what i've read again, makes 135 whp and somewhere around 165-170 at the crank. Here is the one simulated by https://www.automobile-catalog.com/ (https://www.automobile-catalog.com/curve/1983/41315/toyota_corolla_gt_coupe.html) (it may sound like i'm mostly complaining, i'm really not, i'm super happy that someone managed to fix the mod and add stuff schumacher didn't, but the only thing that bugs me is the unrealistic power of the engines. You could use the power from the 4A-GE 20v for the 4A-GE 16v and the 4A-GE 16v for the 3A-U)
Sorry about that. I tried to use a torque curve calculator I found online and improvise for some parts, and I also just realized that I entered the values in as the lb-ft figures, not the newton meters. I'll replace the file above shortly
just wait, i've started modifying the values, i think in 10 minutes is ready --- Post updated --- Don't mind that, is ready. Now it makes the real figures for all the engines EDIT: IMPORTANT! (kinda) removed the rev limit for the 3A-U engine
I'll add your fixes to my new ones (fixed a bunch of messed up configs and pictures and added a few parts)
I'm honestly fine with the mod as long as it retains it's functionality. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
