I kinda skimmed through the many many (6) pages of comments and couldn't find a jbeam pic. Would you mind showing me the jbeam? Also, i would love to give this thing an accurate interior. Shoot me a PM if you're interested. Otherwise, this car is looking spectacular. Although, the lights could use some more detail. They just look like colors, which isn't necessarily terrible. Just wonky at the wrong angles.
let's just sayyy it needs some work also, im not too sure what you mean by the lights "look like colours" but it is true the lights lack a bit in detail definitely interested but i wouldnt really be interested in providing it for a while,as i'd like to get it up to some standard to at least before doing so
Sounds good! Yes jbeam does need some rework, but it looks very nice so far. At least it’s not a slabbed mesh. As for the lights, it might have been my eyes. They looked like color but from a closer look they aren’t. And yeah I agree, detail is needed. As for the interior, take your time and I will always follow up and be available on my offer. Otherwise, best of luck on this beaut!

this thread is not your daily updates thread, and if I make progress worth posting i'll post it. nor can you seem to read what's right under the bolded question on the main post. i'm tired and stressed. just napped for nearly 4 hours. my motivation isnt there often. not to mention I'm so easily distracted, even when I do want to do something it takes me a while to do it. I'm not at all a fast or focused worker. the mod isnt going to be done anytime soon due to my pacing and motivation. you can stop asking. I'm not here to sit here and have this mod WIP for years and claim I'll finish it. if I stop working on it I'll cancel it. as it currently stands, its release date is when its ready. whether that's in a few months or never. I'm not here to give in to what you want.
Nice to see an SC300/Soarer potentially coming to the game! As you can see in the photos I've attached below, there's been a few of these sent round the banger track! I think I've seen 4 or 5 raced but I'm sure there's been a good few more. The Toyota Supra mod that was released on here a few years back actually had a banger version added. Maybe an idea to add to this if it gets released? We currently have 8 Banger Racing ovals in the game that have been released on a Facebook page, I'd post the link on here but unsure if the author would want that as he'd have done that himself surely?! And also it's an absolute pain to get them to work lol. There's already a H Frame roll cage mod which I have been given permission by the author that it can be used by anyone as long as they give credit. There's also a model of a Steam Tank to replace the radiator for the cooling system which I am able to share so long as it is also credited. Worth noting, I know how these bend in real life so if you want to, feel free to pm me on here and I am happy to test the Jbeam to see if it bends correctly when stripped out (suppose it may help you too) I see you don't want to give the mod out to people until it is completed but I'm rather inactive on here and couldn't care less about a photo lol.
i still stand by not giving it out until beta testing, where i'll select a handful of individuals. i'll add you to the list. but i'm particularly interested in adding one, i'd especially like that purple/pinkish one as a reference to use do you have any more pics of it? the h-frame mod you talk about would also be particularly helpful i've turned on dms so you can talk to me there privately, or here, which ever you'd like
Baking ambient occlusion is a great way to make anything appear more "3D". You can do so within Blender:
