I would like to do fashion but I'm green in the subject maybe you could tell me where to start or who would do such a thing for a fee if any spelling mistakes are made by a Google translator because I'm from Poland thank you very much for your reply
Twój post jest całkowicie niezrozumiały bo napisałeś m.in. że chciałbyś "robić modę" oraz, że dosłownie przetłumaczone "zielony w tym temacie" - anglicy nie znają takiego powiedzenia. Daj znać na PW co chcesz przekazać, przetłumaczę to i wstawię w ten temat. //Post written in Polish for better understanding to avoid difficulties caused by the language barrier
English/Angielski: If I understand this correctly, you need to learn 3D modeling, beam coding and texturing. Below is the wiki page to which I will link. Basically, you are asking us to teach you how to create a completely new car, which we cannot do. https://wiki.beamng.com/Introduction_to_Vehicle_Creation https://wiki.beamng.com/Vehicle_Creation_Megapage Polish/Polski: Trochę przestarzałe, ale powinno działać dobrze. English/Angielski: A bit outdated, but it should work fine.
Yes, like he knew that. I already explained. We don't need 20,000 comments complaining about the same thing.
Mam gotowy model w blenderze pozostaje mi go przenieść do gry.
Hate to say it, but there's no point trying to mod on BeamNG unless you have previous modding experience from other games. Modelling is the easy part, trying to get everything to work in the game and function properly is the extremely tricky part. I did a few mods on ROR in the past but they were just skins, wheels and the odd mesh slap. BeamNG is very complicated and it takes years to make a decent mod. If you already have the model and a vanilla car to base it off, then maybe 3 - 4 months for someone who knows what they're doing. All depends on when people get free time but as you may notice, there's been no proper car mods released for a considerable amount of time due to how long it takes to do them! Best way to make mods for people who just want to start having a go is to buy Automation on Steam and then use the feature they've added to bring the cars over to BeamNG.
You can not translate polish expressions on English. Most of people here won't understand whatr you mean.
everyone in this thread understands what he has meant so far. obviously it's pretty awful for most people to try to read, but those people can just not reply. replies are supposed to contribute or help, not say "kurwa your translator is shit!". now i'm not saying that what you posted was wrong, it's good information. i'm talking about the people who have no idea what this thread is even for. they just won't reply. and if they do reply, they're technically not following the guidelines. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- but let's try not to point out the obvious about the translation, since it's the best he can do. let's just try and help him. also, people, saying that it's not a good idea to try is pretty shitty. while it may be true, let this guy figure that out on his own. help him at least give it a shot, since it's something he's asking people for help with, and has decided to take time out of his life to create something for this game. if he gives up, he gives up. but it's not our decision whether he "needs to try" or not. to the OP: most cars from that website will be too detailed for BeamNG. you can try to use it, but it's better to make your own model. YouTube is a good place to learn these things.
Watching YouTube videos about the basics of Blender (or whatever 3D modeling program you will choose) is definitely a good start, just so you can understand how to modify the meshes. Obviously, it won't be any easy or quick to learn as 3D modeling something can take months or even over a year, so you better have quite a bit of determination just to get through the modeling process. Other than that, I would suggest hitting someone up on this forum that knows how to jbeam and/or create textures, to get your mod working ingame
