Did I mention there's a "Warning Light Pattern" slot and anyone can make custom jbeam files that fit into this? At the moment it ships with 2 patterns : Basic (right) and 'Double Flash' (left). Also, LEDs are selectable now on the body for rear lights, for warning lights, and on stop signs Gfycat Video - Click to Play - Direct Link
Over the past day: - Jbeam and model bugfixes - Mercedes Benz engine is now updated and working good - Added "head bumpers" Todo: - Model radiator tubing for the MB engine - Texture one more part under the hood - Add some more bits to the hood texture - Fix flexbodies stretching everywhere - Fix instability on crashes - Debug a wheel inversion problem with the front suspension ^ After that, it should be in private beta stage.
Added the Allison MD3060 transmission, tuned by @on3cherryshake It seems to be a little faster for 0-55mph, then it steeply drops off. But the rest of them also are very slow up at those speeds. Understandable for a bus. I mainly wanted to add it because push button shifter
That's pretty much the plan, at least for now. I almost forgot about the ominous red light. It'll turn on with the headlights. There's a total of 150 total jbeam parts now (incl. organization and frame slots)
I regret to inform you that.. I FORGOT THE RAILING How the heck do you forget the railing in a school bus?! Just have to add the end bits with the screws Edit: oh yeah, what kind of skins should I add? My ideas so far are - Some activity bus skin - "East Coast Schools" - "West Coast Schools" - "BeamNG Bus Lines" - One or two derby/beater skins - A dirty/rusty skin
As some people mentioned before, "East Coast Schools" and "West Coast Schools" should be "Firwood City School District" and "Belasco Unified School District," respectively.
Was Thinking about a University Shuttle Bus: --- Post updated --- Would really like to see a government bus like that ingame! --- Post updated --- Is there an option to replace windows with metal sheets? Lastly would also like to see a rail crew transport bus Skin like this:
No option for metal in the windows but I did just make it so all the glass can be removed. Maybe I can make that slot work for both in the future. I also separated out the frame part for a potential shorter body and frame if I feel like it in the future
