New character time: Name: Saul Boetticher Sex: M Age: 36 Relations: Knew @Tuner from America , @Denis15 , and @Cory5503 from High School. Lost track of em when I moved to Texas for a while and bought a Pessima Wagon. Backstory: Saul is a poor man living from paycheck to paycheck at a gas station. Lives in ECU. Car: 1996 Ibishu Pessima Wagon
(Going back to an old character from a while ago: ) Things have changed a lot since the last time I posted. The shop went under and I almost filed for bankruptcy, something I hate to admit. Shortly after that tanked, I was hired at Firwood Marine Specialties, a company that specializes mainly in the repair and fabrication of all types of watercraft. My job title is a welder/machinist, but I usually take on many other tasks too. I still own my D25 trail rig (which now has a roll cage and some 38" tires) and roller Hopper, which was supposed to be turned into a crawler. Instead I found a 1991 Hopper Classic in pretty good shape for a relatively good price. I jumped on the opportunity to use that as my donor body and frame for the crawler, rather than the seafoam green one. It ate up a ton of my money, and I just now am finally recovering financially from it, hence the 1985 LeGran that I've been using as a daily driver after I sold my other green Hopper. I never thought I'd own a LeGran and I'm embarrassed to say I do, but I must admit that it's surprisingly comfortable and has a healthy amount of power from it's 3.8L V6, backed by a 5-speed stick.
So the model I opted for was the Tograc 160Q Manual in 'Bleu France.' I'm going to be sightseeing in Italy for a little bit longer before I begin my long journey home. This trip was really fun and I got a souvenir to round it off.

Car(s): 1987 Gavril D10 SUV 4WD, 1995 Gavril V8 LXT35 Manual. Misc.: I moved out of Maine in 2015, and moved to Small Island after receiving a job offer from my grandpa who at the time owned a mechanic shop. I moved into the duplex below his house, and I started to work there up until his death in 2017. I Inherited both his home, car, and business after, and continued to maintain the successful business. Then in 2019, I sold it off to a local guy for a large amount of money after the work was getting a bit too taxing. I now work at the local Airport as a Airport Manager, my job is to make sure that projects get done and everything is in perfect shape for operational use.
I’ve sold my house, bought a reliable French crossover, and bought a small apartment on a rural island. It’s so nice having a car that doesn’t stink of cigarettes and urine.
(New character, yet again. I promise, this will be the last one, maybe...) Name: Cory Cook Age: 24 House: Belasco City, CA and a cabin on Small Island, CA Job: Criminal Investigator Vehicles: 1991 Ibishu Hopper, 1987 Gavril L-TRV, 1998 Gavril Roamer LXT Police Package, 2020 Cherrier Vivace S 410Q Arsenic Misc. Info: I was born and raised in Firwood, where I purchased my 1991 Hopper as my first vehicle. Once I graduated from school, I went to college for two years and received a bachelor's degree in law enforcement. I followed @Tuner from America , a high school friend, out west, but stopped short and decided to settle in Belasco City. There, I got a job as a state police officer, a position that I held until just recently when I advanced my rank to a criminal investigator for the state police department. I own a small plot of land on Small Island, CA with a run-down cabin from the 1930s on it. I often make weekend trips there to hang out with Mathias and Saul (@brien_w ) with my L-TRV, which I keep on the island.
Today I bought a '86 L-TRV Marauder D10 for 6500$. It was purchased by the local research facility in march of 2011, and used as a work vehicle until it's demise in 2013 when it was finally parked behind some bushes out of eyesight. Cory came along with me and drove me there in my truck, as soon we got there. We paid in full and got straight to work on the truck. Thankfully I had a bunch of spare parts for a Diesel motor in my truck that we we're able to use to repair the L-TRV on the spot before we even moved it. We then got it started and moveable, and I took up the task of driving it home on dirt roads strictly because the tags we're expired, and there we're some sheriffs out today. But nonetheless, me and @Cory5503 both made it home safely with zero problems. When I got home I looked up what these tool boxes we're in the back of my D10, and supposedly they're rare ammo boxes that we're only available on earlier Models of the L-TRV. But for future projects, I plan to do a 3 link swap in the front of it, and keep the rear leaf springs, but for that I'll be needing a shop... @brien_w also moved into my lower duplex, Renting it out to him currently.
I'm outside the BCPD for a very good reason today. I'm becoming a cop. A man named @Cory5503 recommended it for me after he heard me crying about bills in my apartment, and apparently there is a good chance I could be his partner. My car will arrive at my apartment soon, but I've already been briefed and trained. --- Post updated --- (My Cherrier Tograc is subject to change)
Well, with a new investigator alongside me, we were called to a drug bust on Small Island around 8:30 PM tonight. I hopped on the Police Department ferry with my Roamer and took the half hour ride over to the island. Once there, I met up with @brien_w , my new investigation partner, and we proceed to the scene, where two other units awaited for us. We made our way to the suspects' vehicles, a Roamer RS and an ETK 800-Series, hoping that it would go relatively smooth. While the ETK driver and passenger cooperated, the Roamer's driver and two passengers resisted, and eventually fled the scene through the gap between the two research buildings. Me and Saul followed suit, while the other units stayed on scene with the ETK.
The Roamer is an RS, very fast. We're having trouble keeping up. I hit him as he was going around a corner, causing both of us to almost fall off the cliff. The guy began to shoot wildly at our cars. He put some holes in my windshield, and lightbar, and sprayed the front of Cory's car as well. I was the one that got the fatal shot in, putting a hole in the drivers head. The passenges kept shooting, but when the drivers foot went limp, the car began to roll. The Roamer rolled down the hillside, and it exploded. --- Post updated --- The BCPD was angry about how much damage my car had gotten on my first assignment, assuming I crashed it, but once Cory talked about my pit manuever and headshot all was forgiven. I even got a pat on the back.
(switched cars - now using a Vivace 160 Manual in dusk) The car is great! It's so nice to have a fully functioning A/C. I think the cold air was the only thing keeping me awake during the last few miles. Prepared some tea and flopped down on the couch as soon as I got home - the road trip had been tiring. I'm currently looking for work, not finding much. I put a post online asking if anyone knew a place that was hiring. Now I wait.
