Plus we still have yet to see a Cherry release trailer, which I think will release this Friday, that seems to be the day of the week they like to upload pre-launch showcases.

Nadeox1's post seems to have implied the Vivace trailer will drop alongside the update, not beforehand, and the update was explicitly stated to not be on a Friday.

If you look really closely, and I mean really close, it looks like the steering wheel is designed in the same way as the new peugeots where the gauges are above the steering wheel completely.

Speaking of looking closely, if you zoom in on the pic of the Vivace track version, you can just about make out what seems to be a digital dashboard, again similar to that of modern Peugeots...

How safe do you think this car is? Right now, the safest car in-game seems to be the ETK 800, but I feel like the Vivace
Yeah, it wouldn't feel right with analog.

The Vivace should be the safest because the fact that the ETK 800 started production in 2013

No i don't think so its true that the etk 800 is a few years older but its a bigger midsize car from a premium manufacturer. Consider weight and size too and german cars in general are most of the times safer than french ones if you look at crash test videos imagine a bmw 3 series crashing into a megane or 308

It'll be safe relative to it's size. Yes it's older, but dont forget the ETK800 is bigger and probably heavier.

Then again, the Vivance is like 7 year newer and it should fit American regulations so it's safer then some modern French cars.

Sorry but french cars are pretty much equivalent to german cars in terms of safety if you compare to model from the same categorie, look at Euroncap website it's an official one.
But I agree that the ETK would likely be as safe as the vivace or a bit better because the ETK is a bigger car.
It could be equivalent because the vivace is much more recent but smaller and lighter.

I would disagree because assuming that the ETK-800 had no changes between 2013-17 because of how cars are setup in game, I would say a 7 year difference is enough to have the Vivace be a safer vehicle.

im honestly so hyped for this. some of the recent updates and cars have been kinda eh. sure the esbr was cool but it was something we kinda already had. also who asked for the little Italian thing. I've been checking everyday for the last 2 and a half months waiting. also those digital gauges look amazing. i wonder if we will get some sort of drive mode selection system that will change the look of the gauges for every drive mode. that would be cool.
