Update Speculation thread

interesting seeing the new sport trim of the vivace, and how it seems more aggressive than the previously shown one, as it has both the RTR s550 style DRLs, and the extra pointy bits on the splitter. is it possible that the yellow one is more of a GTI (I4, still FWD, but a hot hatch) and the green one is more like a golf R/ focus RS (AWD, I5, full on performance thing)?

also a bit offtopic, but I hope it has an "S-line" trim (like golf R line, bmw msport, merc AMG line, etc), with all the sporty appearance parts and none of the performance?

looks like they redesigned the bumpers, and it just fixes the design.

 

My impression is that the extra stuff is like you said the RS or what ever you wanna call it version while the other one is a slower more tame version not just redesigns. As for the green cars I still think the one shown in the devblog is the base base model and the other new one we saw is a high end trim level that’s not focused on performance

 

i guess it could be AWD verison with largest i5 engine

 

Is the Vivace same size like 308/Focus/Megane or is it like 208/Fiesta/Clio

I like how Americans keep thinking French cars are quirky in general, despite all the blandmobiles made in the last decades, or Peugeot's historically conservative image.

So I was wondering, I just started the game rn and spawned on West Coast USA because I wanted to see what time of day those pics were or the vivace and noticed there is no time of day on this map where the lighting is like on one of the screeshots of the vivace, so maybe West Coast USA got some improvements too.

this one, I tryed out every settings and couldn't recreate the same lighting. And my graphic settings are all on the highest setting.

Well the photo was taken on the new lighting system that's probably coming for this update so yeah you cant get the same lighting as the photo

 

didn't they already add the new lighting when the utah revamp got added?

 

No, you are thinking of the HDR update. this is far far bigger of a update to lighting
