Great job on the mod so far. I finally made it to the bottom using the keyboard and here is the proof I look forward to the log trailer
well, you could always wait until the pre-race update, then use the pigeon instead (since it's going to be the most fps friendly vehicle in the game after the update)
How about a car trailer like this: http://www.aaat.com/transport/uploaded_images/Multi-car-trailer-713584.jpg Having it filled with simplified Covets and an option with no cargo at all so you could add the car(s) of your dreams after the race update I wouldn't mind if the Covets don't deform that well, it's mainly about the visuals for me. The wooden logs or the pipes don't deform well either as they use a simple box collision mesh, but they can be separated from the trailer. And that was what i liked when i dropped off of Corkscrew
Great mod, btw could you try making a version with more "advanced" logs N/B structure, but yet simple. Im just saying, bcause N/B structure is kinda boxy.
Air helper shocks For those particularly heavy loads that have to be hauled over bumpy terrain, simply turn your lights on (N), and up it goes! View attachment pickup_suspension_R_Air.jbeam It is a separate file, so if you don't like it, delete it.
Mind if i include them in the next version? They are really good. Sent from my HTC One X+ using Tapatalk
You could also consider putting the H-series 6-speed auto into the next version too. The 6-speed combined with the 4.5L V8 makes more torque in 1st gear (at the wheels) than the Powerstroke with the 4 speed, with its low 1st gear. And the offroad diff almost doubles the torque.
Just post a video of you bombing around the small island circuit without a crash or something instead ;P
Aight. Time for me to try out this little challenge of yours. See you in a few hours with a video... or a ragequit. UPDATE: lol nope this is hard. maybe later.
This is awesome, and I couldn't help but try the challenge and after a few dozen attempts I completed it at 10:46(some how didn't flip during a jack knife and spent a few minutes trying to get out of it with the trailer attached). Then I added a personal transmission and engine (based on a Duramax 6.6L backed with an Allison 2000 transmission gear ratio) and ran it again at 8:06 then turn around and made a climb back up the hill at 20:25 (The tires wouldn't get traction on a hill and had to make some adjustments) Run 1: run 2: Back at the top: Edit: tried again to go back to the top, about 7 minutes.
Ok I will but it will be an camera video due to I'm cheap and can't afford fraps. - - - Updated - - - Oh and it will be on keyboard. Cause my steering wheel has yet to be hooked up.
