Sooo when is headset audio going to be fixed? As in; sometimes I’ll forget to turn on my headset, or just not need it at first, before starting the game and no matter what the game sound will come through my monitor after I turn the headset on. I have the wireless Stealth 600s if that matters. Really just an annoying problem rather than a game breaking problem. I have to completely restart my game after I turn my headset on for the sound to come through them (which is annoying, since steam takes a few minutes to shut down Beamng unless I force close through task manager.) But as long as I turn my headset on, then start the game, everything is fine
The new sounds for the turbo and the new pops and bangs that was showcased, seems to not work. I tried in safe mode, but it´s still the same backfire and turbo sounds as 0.18 Big thanks for keeping the game alive and fresh!
On the topic of sounds, I just wanted to add that the noise on overrun is fantastic but I think the off throttle engine/exhaust noise is far too quiet. Most notable is with the Vivace Hillclimb/race models, brilliantly loud but off throttle and when down changing it's like the engine has been switched off despite being at 6-7k rpm. As if there is zero exhaust noise unless throttle is applied, I think this lets it down somewhat. ETA - I do love the detail thats gone into the adaptive driving modes, especially the adaptive exhausts
I've successfully reverted my graphics drivers to the version suggested in the top post. I will see if this works on my end also. For an issue, the Gavril D15 rear bumper (black) is mistakenly called a body-colored bumper in the parts selector.
I can't remember last time we got so many new content in a single update. You're spoiling us, devs! And now the bug reports: H25 Vanster LWB has a typo in its desription. Also... You can see that after moving my camera slightly lower (so it "touches" the water) the whole screen becomes red. Clearing cache and disabling all mods didn't help. Launching the game in Safe Mode worked out tho. Can the graphics settings be the reason for this?
These are the sounds i was referring to But it seems they only apply to this car. Other cars still uses the old backfire sounds. Not sure if that´s intended or not? The new sounds are great!
The custom two tone paint job does not work on the extended Roamer Edit: I'd also love to see a trim piece we could put in the roadsport rear bumper so that it still looks good if we don't have exhaust pipes coming out the rear.
I just wanted to second this as I find it useful to be able to set the game's resolution/size to a different size than my monitor's. In my case, I use a 2560 x 1440 monitor but only want the game to be sized 1920 x 1080 on the monitor. After playing around with it, including messing a bit in the BeamNG.drive\settings\game-settings file, I can get windowed mode to show the correct resolution & size, however, the Windows title bar seems to be included as part of this which means the gameplay area is actually slightly smaller than 1920 x 1080. The only reason I care about that is because then the game doesn't fit properly into my video capture program. My workaround was to manually resize the window slightly to bring the gameplay area to 1920x1080. Essentially the setting I'm looking for (and was able to accomplish in the previous version) is to have the game windowed @ 1920x1080 & borderless. I may be alone (along with mumboking) on this need but I just wanted to share. Otherwise, keep up the great work BeamNG team! The update is fantastic as always!
Yep, there is something about offroading that the system doesn't like, I can't quite pinpoint what it is. There are already measures in place trying to detect when things go wrong like this and turn off the systems automatically, but seems like more calibration is needed for that.
Did the clutch assistant get changed? Because its impossible to build up boost anymore, it just locks the clutch at 100% and makes the engine redline.
I've notice that sometimes when going uphill with the cherrier, the esc slow down the car even if I wasnt turning. Dont have a video because it happened randomly. I was in comfort mode, driving in normal conditions (50 km/h not flatout)
Hi, I've been playing for a few hours in Safe Mode and what I've noticed is that the ESC/ TC are a bit harsh on the Cherrier Vivace. For example I've been driving normally both Off-Road and On-Road and at times these safety features would turn on and would try to stop the car no matter what was happening, once they started the only way to stop them would be to release the accelerator and stop the car. I am using a G27 Steering Wheel so keyboard problems such as Max. Acceleration or Max. Breaking aren't a problem.(Yes, I have played in Off-Road Mode on Off-Road, Sport Mode while driving faster and Comfort Mode during both normal and faster driving) Otherwise I find the update quite entertaining, as said I spent a few hours just now and I can see how much work you put into this game and this new car seems to me like a real progress, wouldn't have expected both a compact car and a SUV/ Cross-Over.
