WIP Covet RS

    Hi, so i've just started this project and my main goal is to make a real sport model for covet.
    The RS variant will have AWD drivetrain,a 2.0 engine, fender flares and some other stuff i may add to it later.

    There is some pics of the drivertrain plans to be. When the 3d model for the engine become done, i will start work on jbeam files and the textures.

    I don't have any experience on 3d modelling, and very little on programing, so this may take a while to be done.

    I suggest using older pessima parts for the AWD system, as it should be easily adaptable to the covet.

    Thats exactly what i've used in the 3d model, and i plan to use the pessima awd jbeam too

    Hello again, so i did finish the 3d model for the engine, now i my plan is to remake the exaust and intake system since i'm changing the intake to the "front" and the headers to the "back" like a k20 engine.

    Hi everyone, i'm here again with a little more progress , so last night i did a little more work on the enginebay and all attatchments to the engine, i did remake the intake and exaust system, and all pipings for intercooler, radiator and oil radiator,a new hood had to be made so the engine can fit, and i added a lip on the front bumper too, now i just wanna do a propper spoiler and start work on jbeam.

    hello again, so i've preatty much finished(for now) the 3d models, i've already started(or trying to) work on jbeam files, but nothing until now, i can't manage to add a other part in the part selector, witch is the unibody for the rs part. if i solve this problem i'll post here ASAP.

    hello again, i've been a little busy recently, but i've manage to make the jbeams work with the custom 3d models, the only problem is that some models spawns on the wrong place, for example, the rear driveshafts spawn in the front suspension and i don't know how to fix this problem, i'll try to change the nodes position, maybe that can work, but i don't have sure

    hello again, i didn't had much time to work on the mod recently, i got time today and i will do what i can to progress further, my main problem now is make the awd work, the rear wheels does spin, but when driving only front wheels slip with aggresive throttle application, plus that i cant manage to make the mesh for the engine load too( i'm thinking re-doing the 3d model for it beacuse the current its a little too simple), and use stock bumpers and not use the okudai ones to edit the mesh. i want to use the k20 engine sound for it, but that will happen later on. if i manage to solve something i'll stay u guys tuned.

    Hello again, its been a while lol. sooo i did fix the engine mesh, with the custom intake too, now i want to make a custom uv maps for both and if anyone knows how to do that plz help me, im strugling with it. The awd system still won't transfer torque to the rear wheels like a 50/50 split i cofigured on the transmission jbeam. Another problem i spotted is that the halfshafts(both fronts and rear) don't seem to be connected to the transmission and rear diff, all thought the rear driveshaft does spin correclty, there is a second mesh of it, like a clone. And this is the overall progress. I would like to know if is better to explain with me recording a video showing how the car is coming together.
