0.19 Discussion thread | Use Safe Mode before reporting

Yep same here, I was spawning 7 car on Utah on 0.18 at 35 - 45 fps and now on 0.19 I get about 20 - 30 fps. Hope it will be fixed

 

Where did the Marauder variant of the D-Series go? It was my favourite...

 

Quick question, would the Tograc be considered an suv? Like a crossover suv?

 

It was replaced with a D10 version.

I've attatched the old version of the config, which you can drop in your mods folder and it won't overwrite the new one.

Another bug report: the D-Series front right fender signal is listed as a left fender signal.

Also, the new Marauder's config doesn't state the transmission type in its name (see above image).

 

I don't know if this is potentially helpful in tracking down the source of the antivirus interference, but it did throw some sort of specific code/object. From what I could gather by googling the code, apparently Beamng is being mistaken for a form of Trojan virus/

My guess? McAfee is probably reacting to the Game Session Information feature - It's designed to collect, process, and send data about what the user is doing. That's pretty much what computer viruses do. It may be best to remove that feature in the next hotfix, figure out what's causing it to trip up antivirus softwares, and only reinstall it once.

 

Update on the low framerate with Ai vehicles: it seems to only be with the cherrier vivaces, any other cars seem to run fine

 

is there a way to go back one version? i am having a lot of issues and i know its mods but i would prefer to play with some of the older mods that i have.

The D10 Marauder seems awfully expensive for what it is. Seems more of a 10k car than a 20k one.


Any chance that we could have the Utility front bumper, Towing eyes and other L-TRV parts for the Roamer?

 

This update has been more than excellent!
I have a few recommendations:

-The nights feel quite bright, this may be a choice from the devs but as you see when choosing a time of day before night time kicks in, the game has a nice dark blue tint to it which feels more attractive than the brighter night time. maybe a little brighter, but I do like the blue tint

-The AI should turn their headlights on sooner, it gets quite dark and as in real life, around sunset drivers would already have lights on.

-Glass breaking sounds are pretty quiet.
-The orange sunset on WCUSA looks really good and i'd like to recommend this to be the norm on the other maps too!

So far I haven't found any bugs so thanks to all for taking your time in making another excellent update!

 

HI when i launch the game it says An Error occurred while updating BeamNG.drive (missing executable)

Vivace 230S have broken backfire noise. It sounds like farts recorded by broken microphone.

Also D series have now very weak front suspension. It's visible if we turn wheels and tap the throttle. Front left (if we turn left) or right (if we turn right) wheel will jiggle.

Haven't encountered major game breaking bugs, but I've noticed this:
Spikes sometimes in the front end of the Vivace after a crash


The ESC on the Vivace gets lost sometimes and doesn't know what to do: I've experienced it once when I've left a dirt path for a paved road, then sped up and took a corner; the car decided to reduce the power coming almost to an alt, then it sped up again.
All the Vivace's windows are still visible behind the light flares or dust.
The Vivace crossover has a weird wobbly suspension when steering at a very low speed. Eg. you steer right and the right wheel bounces more than it should.
The better light system works very well, but it's not completely fixed for the ETK K-Series. With low beams it's much better than before, but with high beams the grilles are still visible:

The glass breaking sound is very faint now.
Small Island needs a bit of optimization as I have experienced some frame drops.
The Vantastic H Series is extremely slow (I got it up to 60 km/h after half a lap of Small Isalnd); is it supposed to be like this?

 

Hi, since garage is temporally missing, is there an alternate way to change default vehicle? thank you!

 

Im not sure if this is a bug, all turbo's give the same boost (0.9 bar) im using the i5 Cherrier Vivace
edit- if i use a race ecu it wil change the boost
