Why is there no race 6 speed transmission for the FCV platform

I think the title is self explanatory

 

Simply because no modern race series it would be featured in still uses manual gearboxes. They use either sequential or more uncommon a dual clutch system.

 

Well yeah dct and seq are faster but whats more engaging? a rubik's cube or a children's toy with three shapes and three holes.
I personally find Manual way more fun to drive and i know a lot of people who have the same opinion.

You can obviously put three shapes in three holes way faster and easier than you can solve a rubik's cube but if your get good you can solve a rubik's cube almost as fast.

So if your opinion on fun is pure speed and efficiency, cool. But I'd like the option to have adjustable gear ratios with Manual.

 

It's a racing car. Designed for the fastest lap times. A sequential or a DCT is much faster around a track

 

Why not have it as an option? Aftermarket just doesn't exist on this car? Its only a "race car", nothing else?

I mean most of the configs are commuters with manual transmissions. I just want a manual transmission with adjustable gear ratios

So instead of calling it a "race" transmission they can call it a "street" transmission.

Yeah i all-ready stated that sequential is faster.

its a maintenance cost to add something to this car that's already in the game?

You guys missed an big opportunity for a Modern high tec 7 gear manual transmission
my thrustmaster shifter even has a 7th gear and waits to get used in beamng.

The manual transmission has an big meaning in general racing and for car enthusiasts around the world.
(the manual H-pattern transmission was brought trough racing on the streets)
i thought you knew that im dissapointed that this get so wisched away like that.
