No, you are hitting an solid unbending wall at more than 50 km/h. That is an impact force high enough to total any modern car. That is the real power of an impact at 50 km/h. It also makes sense to cut unneeded electrity systems in the event of a crash. You dont want to increase the fire risk any further.
Don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but on the Kentarch D Series, the right side back door is missing it's panel.
yes please, this 130hp version is nice and we can take advantage of it because it is nervous unlike the 110hp which is a little soft.
Hi, first off this is an absolutely stunning update and a much needed car for Beam. Just one question. On the repo im trying to install some newer mods (I know i can just download them manually but this post only conserns the repo) and the newer mods arent showing up for some reason. (online) (repo) Many thanks
As I'm running an old, unusual multi-GPU setup, I don't know how much this might apply for others, but I noticed performance being worse too, which was fixed by disabling SSAO.
The impact speed is actually 52km/h so no that above over 50km/h. ennough to destroy the engine bay, sure, to destroy all the screens in the interior of the cabin not really. Unless something gets damaged, things like the tachometer than can display info about the status of the car, and the radio, which some manufactures even use to call to emergency through your phone, don't get disconnected. Even in the crash i recorded, the engine is still running (somehow) so battery should not be a issue. What I recorded is just an example of what I've found through multiple crashes. I feel that they make so easy to break to avoid for the screens to bend and deform the image
Despite many Full Screen Bugs have already been addressed, I think this one is new: I have two 4K Monitors on my PC, running BeamNG in Fullscreen Mode on one of them. If running BeamNG in native resolution (3840x2160) in Full Screen Mode everything is fine. If (due to performance reasons) the resolution is lowered in the InGameSettings to Full HD (1920x1080) in Full Screen Mode, the game shortly switches to this resolution, is then thrown out of Full Screen Mode and then switches automatically to Window Mode. To fix this, I have to disable the second monitor via Windows key + P. Then it stays in Full Screen mode even with non native resolution correctly. I only know this behavior from older (pre year 2010) games, but haven't seen it yet on newer titles besides BeamNG. Its most likely not an issue with the non native monitor resolution itself but the combination with using a second monitor which runs the normal Windows desktop (of course in the native resolution). Maybe the game looses focus on which monitor it shall run or something like this. If any log files are needed, I will be glad to help and provide them.
I noticed a small problem with the ETK K-Series: With a small blow to the rear of the car, the drive shaft is damaged
I think using the traffic mode there should be a totally different/random car when it's respawned. That way it feels more like streets, with more variety.
Hello, I have a few questions about DCT in Vivace which is beside that really well made car. 1. Is it possible to make DCT a bit smoother ? Because now the car behaves really choppy mainly when its downshifting and that is not very comfortable. That leads me to the second point. 2. Rev matching- normally when DSG transmission downshifts it preselect particular gear- disengage the clutches- set the revs for that specific gear and engage the clutch. In beamng the gearbox does exactly that but when it comes to setting the revs, the car just press the throttle but dont hold the revs so that causes this very jerky action ‘cause it just blips the throttle and than the clutch engages. 3. Creeping- is it possible to implement this feature to DCT when you release the brake pedal the car will start slowly moving forward like in real DSG cars ?
Using the offroad mode on the Tograc feels like the car is having a seizure. It locks the brakes even on smooth terrain and overall it feels less safe than to just disable ESC and TCS completely
Hello, Dont get me wrong, I like the style of the new car, But I think there are still some Jbeam improvements to do. Here are some examples:
