Picked up a pursuit on I-110 today, chasing a Charro with my Roamer. I continued to follow him at relatively high-speeds onto an off-ramp. He made a left onto the road towards the dockyard, driving in the opposite lane. He spun his Charro around and slammed it into a mount of dirt. At that point, I went to get out of my Roamer, but I soon realized that the driver of the Charro was @DavidJ305 , a friend of mine, and he was armed! He took two shots at me, and landed both of them. I hit my panic button and heard @brien_w say he was en-route, just before the whole world went black for me. Next thing I knew, I woke up momentarially in the back of an ambulance, and that was it.
After hearing the radio call, I rushed to the dockyards. As I went over there, one of my worst thoughts was confirmed. Cory was dead. I rushed into the building, a meth lab, where people were frantically packing up. They all spotted me at once, and started shooting. I got a bullet right in my leg, and ducked behind cover. I returned a few shots, eventually hitting one of the many machines. It produced a massive explosion, killing everyone in the building. I stood up and slowly hobbled out, and walked toward my car. Saul's vision began to fade, and he put a hand up to his face, realizing half of it was missing. Saul didn't feel any pain, but couldn't hear a thing. The fire raged on behind him, and he reflected on his life. Saul fell to his knees, and then a minute later fell face down on the ground as his vision faded. He died shortly after.

So today, I was visiting a friend in Utah - the tow company he works for is hiring. I would prefer not to be a tow truck driver, honestly. I set off home, but as I was passing AJ Auto repairs, I saw an abandoned pickup. I pulled over and inspected it - a couple of windows were smashed out and the driver's door was open. I decided to look under the hood - the engine was fine, despite the slight damage to the hood. I tried the engine and with much persuasion, it started! With this discovery, I headed inside to talk to the boss. We agreed that there was no chance someone was coming to pick it up and decided that I could have it. One quick phone call to my friend later and we had the pickup on the back of the tow truck, heading back with me.

My new car got delivered from California today! It's either a 1988 or '89 ETK I-Series that has been modified extensively, with a 3.0L swap and some race-spec coilovers. It's got some rear-end damage, but I should be able to fix it. For now I'll pull it into the garage until I find time and motivation to work on it.
*2 days earlier* So I wanted to make my Ibishu 200BX a project car. After 30 minutes thinking my idea was to make it diesel so I called junkyard company and asked if they had 6.0 Litters V8 diesel engine they said: no but we can order it and it will be available tomorrow and I accepted it. It was 600 dollars well it has a lot of miles. *1 day earlier* Finally it arrived I grabbed my van and got to junkyard. It was outside. So I with my buddy got it in the van Got back home-unloaded it and started working *Today* Finally it's ready. It needs exhaust and smaller tires or wheels.
Today I made a lot of progress Made fender exit exhaust, got smaller wheels also bought snorkel and it goes awesome. I love this black smoke. Some drift photos.

Well, I've decided to start a small welding business out of my barn. I'll be doing work of all sorts, everything from custom staircase railings to race car tube chassis. In order to transport materials and products more efficiently, I picked up a 210,000 mile 2WD Roamer LXT for $400. It served as a work truck for a carpenter, hence why the rearmost seat has been removed and trunk carpet stripped. Overall it's pretty clean, with minimal rust for an East coast vehicle with 200K+ on the clock. That being said, my Charro will now be up for sale since I don't really need it anymore. You can check it out on the Selling Cars thread if you're interested.
