Fiat 850 or 127? Yes, one of them is from 70s but for me the problem isn't that Piccolina can't have these engines. It's more like we just don't have smaller options right now. That's it.
or maybe the piccolina is its own thing with a larger motor than normal and doesn't have to fit the trends of other cars as Beam is set in a fictional world. Maybe engine sizes in city cars were larger in this worlds :/
In that case give it a fictional country of origin to match. If it's claimed to be a post war Italian compact, then it should fit that description. What's the big deal against giving the thing an extra engine option anyway?
What do you guys think might be the next new vehicle after the Wendover, Hope to see a European van (say like a Ford Transit so it could be available in the US maps) as that's one thing this game really needs. that and a Fire Truck (euro and american, the euro can be tied to a euro COE). If they do a euro COE, I would love to see a Fertilizer/lime spreader truck. These are usually 4x4 (sometimes 6x4) trucks that they use here in New Zealand for spreading fertilizer/ Lime rock on farms.
Honestly? I would guess that the devs wouldn't make a new car after the wendover and instead focus on remastering the old cars(bolide, moonhawk). I mean, have you seen the textures and engines on those things?

You know, I've just had a thonk about the Port and Industrial Site remasters. Given that those maps were some of the first teased, and yet are taking the longest to be released, I think it's a pretty good assumption that there's something extra going on. The first possibility is that Port is finally getting a new "back half" to replace the remaining bits of racetrack that were left behind when the map was forked from Industrial Site, in which case it will probably be necessary to create a large quantity of completely new assets to fill the extra space, which could account for the delay (especially as they'll be working on other maps at the same time in order to keep the content coming). The second possibility is... remember that Industrial Site doesn't just have the main club-race and rallycross tracks, it also has an off-road track and a drift track which have no time attacks or scenarios, are basically featureless beyond a few rudimentary trackside constructions, have been more or less ignored since the release of the game, and are generally getting kind of groaty by the standards of 2020 BeamNG (or even 2016 BeamNG, for that matter). The off-road track is more of a bog/crawl course than anything; it may get some upgrades (think Hirochi Raceway crawl course) when the rework is introduced, but that in and of itself wouldn't necessarily account for such an enormous delay. What's really got me thinking, is the drift track. Now, one of the campaigns has had a drifting mission for years, but I'm not really sure how refined a state the drift-scoring system is in, and the mission takes place on a circular pad with haybales to use as clipping points but no penalty for hitting them. What I'm wondering is, are the devs working on a more full-fledged drift trial system and planning to introduce drift trials as a regular content type with the Port/Industrial rework? It would make sense, and the need to code this system might explain the delay. The insane possibility, since I know this thread likes those, is that they're secretly going to bring back Dry Rock Island to carry on the time-honored spirit of the Lime Green Tropical Island after Port, Industrial Site, and Jungle Rock Island are reworked, but it's taking so much time and effort (because the map was pretty much already a lost cause in 2015) that it's delaying the other projects. The final possibility is that Port and Industrial Site still aren't planned to be anything special or significant. They are only being kept around so that people won't wonder what happened to them, and are only being reworked for a few scenarios or so that the game won't have content that sticks out by being obviously less polished than everything around it.
Because sometimes he does post official content. I know one example I have ATM is when Nadeox posted a screenshot of two Ibishu Hoppers in I believe JRI, and they were equipped with those Jurassic Park style lights that sits in front of the windshield, and that was before those lights were officially released.
Could you show me the evidence? And i know he does, just do some research to see if some things resemble mods.
