V8 Ibishu Covet Nothing fancy, I just modded the Ibishu Covet to have a 3.0L 32V V8 which is basically just the same engine but with 2 heads. I adjusted the weight, steering and suspension so it behaves like a car with twice the engine shoved under the hood. The power is realistically set too. It's not ridiculously fast or anything but it's quicker than the turbocharged version and it's kinda fun to drive. Later on I might tack on a rear manifold and do some fine tuning, maybe even go further enough to actually make it AWD and give the engine proper dimensions once I get a little better with jbeam. Credit goes to Gabester because he's awesome.
Re: V8 Ibishu Covet so its a twin engine monster? interesting...up for sticking another engine in the boot and making it a 6L V16?
Re: V8 Ibishu Covet This is pretty neat! I've been thinking about building a Covette lately..(Civette).. Dropping a corvette engine in the covet and making it a proper rear wheel drive etc. ->Youtube->Civette->Search->???! Here saved u the trouble: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DudjNvnsfKE&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Re: V8 Ibishu Covet That would be pretty awesome if it was correctly coded and modeled. Love seeing all these Covet mods!
Re: V8 Ibishu Covet yeah seeing a 4WD Covet with 2 3L V8 engines in them...maybe add on 2 sets of twin turbos...so a 6L V16 Quad Turbo for a utterly insane coders wet dream eh haha
I'm not sure if I should delete my previous thread or not so I'll just be lazy and leave it up to the mods. V8 Ibishu Covet Includes: The double headed 3.0 engine from my last mod, a wacky looking exhaust, a "properly" implemented AWD system (I did a little more than just tack in an extra diff), proper weighting for the all the modifications I did, a little wing to make it look sporty, and a decal. It's not designed to be super fast or anything, it's supposed to be realistic and drivable yet fun and unique. This mod is a whole independent car, so when you install it it will show up in the menu as "Ibishu Covet SS". This also means that it's installed the same way as you would install a normal car. Credit goes to Gabester because he made the car in the first place, all I did was butcher the hell out of it.
Re: V8 Ibishu Covet Or maybe doing that with the pigeon when it comes out(and of course adding to more wheels in the back(Not quite sure where else it would go(on top?).) so it doesn't tip over.)?
I was experimenting with multiple engines at one point a long time ago. Here is a "hybrid" demo: Low power engine and then it kicks into a high power engine at a certain RPM, I know it is odd, but it was just an experiment.
I don't know if you're referring to my avatar but I'm a guy, the girl in my avatar is my adorabilian.
