Oh, you're right! The T-Series is completely fine!

 

It seems like the "Extreme" Chassis Stiffening I tried to JBeam seemed to do the same as the normal chassis stiffening, not adding that to the mod; caused more problems

 

i think this mod is almost done...

Did you know it's 100% legal to register, own and drive a brand-new Cherrier Vivace in the United States of America?



Around the world, Cherrier is famous for their speedy, nimble and not-all-that-reliable hot hatches. They withdrew from the U.S./Canadian market in 1987, but never from Latin America, including Mexico. These markets enjoy access to the full range of Vivace models, up to and including the mad 5-cylinder Vivace S 410Q.



What's more, while none of their new models are officially sold in the U.S., they are still certified by the EPA and DOT, presumably so people can move to and from the States without buying a new car as well. (In fact, as far as emissions standards go, the Vivace greatly exceeds the EPA's requirements and is one of the greenest new cars you can buy anywhere.)



The one little snag: maintenance. There are no Cherrier mechanics in the United States anymore, so you'll have to find a club or work on it yourself. Plus, the performance-oriented Vivace S lineup (you know, the one you want) is not sold in any English-majority country, so service manuals are going to be problematic. Ordering parts domestically is out of the question too - you'll have to get them from Latin America or overseas, which means shipping costs. But if you can find one at a price you like, and you still think you can keep up with the maintenance, it is totally possible to import your very own - though it helps to know a little Spanish!
