I'm only 12, so the only crash I've been in was when I was riding my dirt bike down the street really fast and hit a bump in the road. I went flying into the air and (me being a small and light kid) could not land fast enough to turn and go around my neighbors car in his driveway. I go flying into his brand new Buick Enclave. Thankfully the only damage was a small scratch on the plastic bumper on the Buick and a small scrape on the side of the bike from sliding across the pavement. The only thing that it did for me was make one of my loose baby teeth become looser.

i cant drive yet so heres a crash my dad had....one day I was in my dads old Mazda and some guy in front of us brakes wore out and he was trying to brake but instead,at a intersection a car hit him hard and when the BOOM happend parts flew in the windsheild in our faces, and also we ended up hitting the back of him...The car wasn't completly totaled until a guy hit the back of us!!!!the car was totaled...so when the police came bla bla all of that happend we were able to drive home and we got the car fixed but it hardley had any brakes,so we drove it to the dealer with the car with no brakes and due to no brakes we ran a red light and drifted into the lot ,and it was loud as a racing crotch rocket but it sounded horrable, infact it was even louder then that....We bought a 2013 new Mazda 3 and it is a great car...The end

Thankfully I've never been in a wreck while driving. I've done some stupid stuff on occasion though.

Back in 2007 I was riding with my mom to Pennsylvania to visit her old summer home and run some errands. While turning on to a dirt road we got rear-ended by a girl who wasn't paying attention . Mom's Audi A4 spun 120° but stayed on the road. The only damage was cosmetic. The 90's Ford Subcompact that hit us was nearly totalled. The entire front end was smashed in. She only lived like 1/2 a mile away, so the police let her drive it home.

Got rear ended in the Honda Civic I just bought a month ago :( Damage wasn't too bad though and they ended up giving me more money than I paid for the car and I keep the car. So... yeah! haha

I hit a curb during my driver's test and still passed. No idea how they passed me. That's the worst crash I've been in to date.

Here is my Eclipse GSX... I fell asleep behind the wheel... I woke up and was HAULING ARSE! A corner came up quick on snowy roads... I hit the brakes and it just... started to slide...

My crash was not very serious but it happened when I entered an intersection on a green intending to make a left turn but it was quite busy that day so I waited until it was a red to make the turn and right when I was making the turn an old woman tried to speed through the intersection on the red and smashed into the side of my car.

I never manged to get the ladies car but it had very little damage surprisingly.
My car was an Ok car but nothing special. I wont miss it. One thing is for sure I will never buy another dodge. My caravan had so many electronic, suspension and transmission issues I am actually happy its gone. My new car is quite a upgrade from this thing. I now have a 2010 lexus RX350. love it.

I've only been in one crash so far, and I wasn't driving. My mom was driving. We were driving to the exit of the complex of flats, when my mom looked down to put in the car radio, and then suddenly out of a blind spot, a car rammed us head on at about 20 Kph. My head cracked the windshield on impact, and my mom hurt her leg. The car barely had any damage though. My mom's leg was sore for a couple of months, but it's all better now. I didn't get hurt. My mom crashed again at the same spot one day, but in a different car that was a bit weaker. After that crash, the radiator fan was stuck, and the engine was pushed back a bit, because that car had a plastic front bumper and plastic grill. The car was V shaped in the front. It was also about a 20 Kmph head on crash at the same spot. The other car had literally no damage whatsoever. Not even a scrape. Well, maybe a little dent, but so small you can't even see it. I wasn't in that crash though. I was sitting in front of my pc playing video games, and then my mom told me about the crash. My mom's car repair man who is also her friend, unstucked the fan by hitting it a bit and forcing it to turn, and then he told us to follow him to his house so he can try to fix the bent in front end. We drove our damaged car behind his 4x4 until we reached his house. He then started hitting the car with a hammer to try to get the dents out, but it didn't work. He then tied a rope to our car and to his car, and told my mom to slam on the brakes while he drives forwards, so he can pull the bent in area out again. It worked a little bit, but not much. We ended up borrowing the other person that crashed into us's insurance, and it gave us R9000 or $900. They took every cent of the insurance money to repair the car, and they told us they replaced the front end and the hood, even though it still looks a bit bent. The only things they actually replaced, want the bumper, grill and headlights. The headlights were working perfectly fine, so I don't even know why they replaced them. Seems to me that panel beaters like to rip people off. But anyways, no one got hurt, and everything is fine.

Chances are they did replace those and simply didnt perform a frame alignment (which can be a difficult task, you really want the car to go to a specialist for that).

Sounds to me that this repairman friend of yours isnt too great with his methodology.

I backed my dad's F-150 into a mailbox. Worst crash I've been in with me behind the wheel.

    - - - Updated - - -

I do have another one though. The doctors don't understand how I'm still alive, let alone don't have any brain damage (or, maybe I do... who knows?). It was at the beginning of this year. I was in the car with my dad and we were driving to Cincinnati for the Cincinnati Auto Expo to look at a few new cars. It was snowing and we hit a patch of ice on the highway. We spun around into the passing lane (or the fast lane, for some of you). It looked like we would just continue on. And that's when I have to turn to the police report because I don't remember a thing. The report says that a young man was speeding in a white Chevrolet Silverado and t-boned our car at 65 mph. It, apparently, was such a hard impact that my head went passed the side airbag and right into the grille of the Silverado, so says the report and the apparent blood stain on the grille. I was knocked unconscious and then woke up like 6 hours later in the hospital with my (now ex) girlfriend crying in the chair next to me.

2 years ago, driving home from work, middle in the night in my Volkswagen Golf 4 2.3 VR5 at 220 kmh, rear right tire blow up, car pulled right hard away from the Autobahn to an open field, a loud bang followed from window splittering and then i dont remember anything. Woke up upside down, the most painfull pain i ever had in my left food ... a polish truck driver pulled me out through the window i didnt understand him und he wasnt understanding me either but my screaming was probably one reason for that .... i got some pictures at home i can upload them if you guys want me to. Some say im lucky that im alive .... since this i got pain in my left leg, stairs are totaly enemies now ...

I have a strong death wish and my driving reflects that, I've never been in or had an accident though.

Got well soon? Its a car, not a person, it can't just magically heal itself

My father, brother and I were hit head on at an intersection in Phoenix AZ in 1977. I was in the front passenger seat of a 1973 Oldsmobile
Cutlass Supreme 2 door WITH NO SEAT BELT. We were making a left hand turn on a yellow when a mother and her two daughters, (strange eh??),
decided to run the light. My father, drunk as usual, made no attempt to avoid the oncoming 1972 El Camino. I hit the B pillar and sustained a massive
head injury and a fractured pelvis from hitting the dash board. My father got the worst of it, ( NO SEAT BELT ), with serious chest, face and knee injuries.
My little brother (NO SEAT BELT ), sustained minor bumps and bruises and bounced around in back like a soccer ball. The mother and her daughters all
sustained serious injuries of never known severity. Nightmares slowly revealed the terrible images immediately after the wreck for months on.

In 1977 drinking and driving was considered a normal driving activity and if you killed someone YOU were the poor bastard who was the victim.
My personal consequence of this event was the new, inexplicable and absolute obsession with car wrecks that has been with me since. The deep
obsession with car wrecks manifests itself today, here, now, with BeamNG. I consider BeamNG a form of PTSD remediation.

    SEAT BELTS=PRICELESS.

Well, aside from being involved in a massive rear-end in 2002 (R.I.P midnight blue Honda Accord), I reversed into the neighbour's bins the other day. On purpose.
