I Just downloaded BeamNG Drive for my son and i unzipped the folder and went to launch the application and i got a System Error saying "The Code execution cannot proceed because VCOMP140.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem. Im not sure what to do to fix this.

What do you mean "unzipped the folder"? Where did you get the game from?

    1. Please tell your specs of the computer, as if you don't, we will be assuming that you are running with recommended specs.
    2. What do you mean by "unzipped the folder". Did you pirate it? Did you copy your steam installation into a zip folder? Pirating doesn't allow you to get updates and you can't get auto mod updates.

From the error, it seems like your missing a file. Try googling the file specified "VCOMP140.DLL", to get a download of it, or a package where the file is contained

No one said it was pirated. We are just asking to make sure we know whats happening in the situation.

Even if you can get the game running you're going to have a hard time. You really need at least a quad-core with 8gb ram and a dedicated GPU. The game can run on surprisingly weak systems, but I wouldn't count on that.

As for trying to get past that error... That sounds like a windows 10 issue, not a Humble/Beam issue. That missing file is definetly Windows related.

l looked at a guide for someone missing that file (not Beam.NG related) and they said to to install vc_redist.x64.exe and vc_redist.x86.exe at this: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=48145 link, and to uninstall beam before installing said files, and to reinstall at the end. This may work, I don't know, but if it does, you might have a really big problem running Beam.NG anyways. Your specs are really low, and I don't know if it can even open at that. If it opens, before you do anything, switch any and all graphic related settings go either the lowest or off.
