Why? It would be a great addition to Beam. --- Post updated --- It kind of does actually, now I think about it. I used a little bit of the Miramar's styling language and the indicator part looks like what the Chevy C10 and Lada Niva has:
It wouldn't be too far fetched of an idea imo if the Pidgeon received a SUV body style. Since you're just extending the current cab backwards and adding some more seats and 3 other doors, one of them being a tailgate. I've quickly made this sketch of what a SUV variant of the Pidgeon could look like imo. Apart from the body being changed, I've also shortened the rear of it which could make it a Kei car now, due to it's decrease in length. (Yes this is a suggestion, but the Pidgeon desperately needs a remaster. And I think this would be a perfect addition to the game.)
arguing about which car that people want to be added next until Nadeox posts a screenshot, then going apeshit crazy trying to "speculate" what's coming in the next update based on a screenshot in the current version
Don't forget "we need [vehicle category X]," with whatever vehicle category X is coincidentally corresponding with a vehicle they happen to like. Bonus points if they spam the everloving shit out of their post with pictures of cars in that category, as if none of us know what a 1950's American pickup truck looks like.
We don't even know if the devs are gonna add a 50's truck to the game anytime soon unless maybe 85-90% of the entire community suggests it. Anyways, here's a few things that I think should happen to the game eventually. 1. Adding more detail to the Moonhawk engine model. I'm pretty sure the Laika car in the Indie game Jalopy has a far more detailed engine model then the Moonhawk. As you can see in the shot above, the engine model doesn't have much detail. 2. A West Coast USA expansion update. West Coast USA doesn't have to be the size of Italy, but it needs to be bigger. The highways are too short. Making the highways loop would probably make them far more interesting. 3. A Jungle Rock Island remaster. This map looks old and it doesn't feel like it's gotten an update in a while. I think the devs should get Jungle Rock Island up to date with East Coast USA, Utah USA, and Small Island USA. I hope it doesn't end up like Dry Rock Island.
2. Here's a entire thread on that and why that wont happen: https://www.beamng.com/threads/west-coast-usa-is-just-bad.69828/page-2 3. It's been rumored. You've been trolled by the community and it was sarcasm. Ok now before I dig a even deeper hole about this X thing and get myself oof by the moderators I'ma go.
I'm interested in seeing just how far the Wendover will deviate from its original concept render. Consider the vehicles we've received in the past: some have been basically identical to their renders upon release, like the Miramar and LeGran; others recived significant changes, like the I-Series and Bluebuck. The Wendover is a special case in that its body style will be completely different from what was originally presented (mind you, it likely won't be the same with two fewer doors, it'll probably have a different roofline). That and the fact that the front end seems to slope too far downward to be realistic, something the I-Series also struggled with before being fixed. I'm personally really excited for the Wendover, as we haven't really seen anything quite like it, mod or otherwise.
I'm really hoping the design will see a complete overhaul, with just the original concept remaining the same
How so, I saw pre release renders and to my eyes it doesn't deviate all that much apart from doors and the B pillars
What about a hatchback body style for the Pigeon like the Reliant Robin?: --- Post updated --- Speculating on Ibishu Pigeon because Ibishu Pigeon
Again tossing this here to see if it sticks, LeGran and Moonhawk need to be revamped. You could argue the LeGran need to be remade from the ground up, and the Moonhawk needs to be updated, and probably it should have a couple of body styles added. (Also, what if the devs are holding up on the body style department because they are trying to figure out how to make the vehicle selector work properly with more than one body style without looking like a mess?)
