Car bugs, no texture (With picture)

"Hello!

I got a problem where the standard cars is just gray with no texture, lights at the back of the vehicle has a mix of red and orange texture with some text on it, but i cant read it.

The Gavril D-Series does not work at all, when i try to spawn it the car i had just disappears and i have to restard game because no other car will spawn after that.

The car i spawn in when i load a world (Dont remember name) is just plain orange with the steel holding the truck bed up, there is no truck bed only the steel under it.

All the cars with no texture or anything can drive, but max 5km/t or 3.11mph.

This is in the full version of the game. Can anyone help? It is quite hard to explain what is happening and i cant take a picture because it will only take a picture of my desktop.

Never having encounterd this bug before, only thing i can think of off the top of my head is to check the download, the game will ahve come with an updater. Run that.

If that completes fine and you still get the bug.

Try deleting your install folder and downloading BeamNG again. (not just using the same installer you allready have)

The orange texture looks like the default "File not found" texture.

Have you made any mods to the game?

 

I had, but deleted them after uninstalling the game then install it again. I have searched about this bug but cant find anything, guess im the special treated customer.

I have now restarted my pc (Not because of this) and are downloading the game now, ill reply again when i get the game running.

I downloaded the game now and at the end i got a "Fatal Error. Unable to download file: ./vehicles/moonhawk/moonhawk_bumper_R.jbeam" but this should not ruin for the other cars?



When i run the game the same thing happens.

its bolide, not bonide. Anyway, there is either something wrong with your internet connection timing out or antivirus or firewall blocking the updater from finishing the job. Rerunning the updater with antivirus and firewall disabled should correct it (*don't* delete the existing files). If not then reinstall the game with the new updater here: http://www.beamng.com/threads/7994-Updater-public-test

 

I turned off my firewall and then no level would load :/

Ok.. so before i restarted my computer the updater worked fine, now i get an error -.-

This is NOT why i bought the game..

 

...The heck?? Why is it installing to system32? Reinstall it again, and when it asks where you want to install it, change it to your documents folder.

EDIT: The problem is that it's trying to install somewhere no program has permission to write (windows directories). Do you have any special non-English/accented characters in your Windows username? I've read elsewhere the updater has issues writing to paths that use extended characters.

ok, so i updated it and at first it didnt work and then i found some file inside the alpha_stable and runned that.

After i runned that my game is finally working!
